NO RUST VEHICLE THAT HAS BEEN WELL CARED FOR!!!! The bottom looks like a 2 or 3 year old vehicle. Amazing condition! Screens on the side windows and they slide open or lock. It even has a privacy cover for the front. Everything works except that the AC is currently not blowing cold. The compressor was replaced last year but it needs service or charging it seems. This is a real clean van. Both inside and out, Top and bottom have all the clearcoat and no rust. Non smokers car. No smells. Beautiful, rich real wood trim . No tears, stains or rips in the seats or headliner. All is a Purple velour that is original. No dents or damage outside. There is a spare mounted under the vehicle that has a matching rim. There is some color fading on the interior carpet but no stains or wear. All in all it is in above average condition. Really sharp looking effect ceiling and valance lighting and all the lights work and dim with 2 control panels! There are two captains chairs and a rear seat that folds to a bed. There is a place to mount a closet pole behind the rear seat if you want to hit the road for an extended period. The seats are removed easily if you want to use it for moving or work. . Everything is original. Has original stereo with a power antenna, cassette and CD.. The color is purple and green interior with an arctic white exterior. Alloy wheels without any damage. Good tires with lots of life left. . Remote lock and alarm.. All the window shades are in perfect condition and operate as they should. Owner's manuals are there. It is hard to believe this is a 96 truck. The engine and transmission run perfect. Shifts smoothly. The miles are not representative of the engine condition and from the clean condition of the motor, I am guessing it was rebuilt at some point. It runs smooth and shifts smooth with good economy with it's small V8. I have owned it for two years with trouble free trips made between New England and Florida.. Call me if you want to see and drive it or if you have any questions. Tom 954-865-7637

Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards
Tue, 27 Nov 2012Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
The overall top 10 models for the best resale value in 2013 are, in alphabetical order:
Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
Watch how Corvette Racing's new collision-avoidance radar system works
Fri, 22 Mar 2013When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.
