LOW RESERVE!!!

RUNS GREAT CAN BE USED FOR A DAILY DRIVER I used it on the weekends, but it is reliable as hell would not be scared to drive it anywhere

This is for a 1964 Wagon the paint job is about 5 months old, the bumpers have been re-chromed, the front grill and bezels are new, I have the windshield trim as well (re-chromed), New front turn signal lenses and rear tail light lenses, the car has drum brakes all the way around, the car has 350 motor with a 2 barrel carb rebuilt, with DUAL exhaust that runs GREAT and it has a "3 on the tree" if you wanted to install a 5/6 speed you already have the pedals ready to go!
The car was orignally an A/C car but the compressor is no longer there.

The the car was equipped with a roof rack as well but in moving to my new house it got damaged it will need a new one, as for the side trim .....same story don't ask I am surprised my girl is still living!!!! ...SO THE CAR WILL NEED SIDE TRIM AND ROOF RACK (see pics) The car also needs interior redone the back tailgate window is electric and works fine ALL glass is in good condition (including a NEW front wind shield along with new rubber seal)!! The hard part is already done regarding paint and body all the panels are original panels NO BONDO! The car is also equipped with the 3rd row seating!!

The car will need new weatherstripping and little things here and there (not like $1000 of dollars with of little things) car is tagged and registration is current rides really smooth would not be afraid to drive ANYWHERE!!

If you want any more photos of the car it is at my uncle's  storage so I will have to drive out to him and get photos so please be patient if you request photos.

I would be willing to end the auction early with a sufficient CASH offer if you are SERIOUSLY interested in purchasing the car,  but please DO NOT INSULT ME because the car is reliable and there is NO RUST on the car! Just be reasonable!!

First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Take a look below to watch the C7's 12.23-second run on video.

Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

It seems the Pontiac Trans Am steadfastly refuses to die. Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside. The interior is emblazoned with all manner of special touches, including a Hurst dash plate and T/A stitching on the Katzkin two-tone leather seats.

Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. You can head over to the Auctions America site for more information. You can also check out the trailer for The Hunter below.
