This auction is for a 1966 Impala Sport Coupe Pro Touring project. I bought this car from the origional owner in illinois. It still had the emblem on the trunk from the Chevy dealer in Auroroa where Mildred bought it. I have put as much blood, sweat, and cash into this thing as i am going to put. I have the clear title, and a laundry list of things that have been done, it just needs to be finished.
Body Work is Almost Done - New Quarters, New Tunk Pan, New Wheel Wells, New Rear inner and Outer Wells, Origional Fenders Rust Free, Origional Biscayne Hood Rust Free (didn't want the chrome spear), All Side Trim Holes FIlled, installed C4 Corvette independant rear suspension with the bulletproof Dana 44 out of a low mileage manual Car. Floors are clean and perfect. This thing has been prepped for paint once already, so minimal cost to you at the paint booth. Shaved firewall and dash pad holes filled and smothed. Ready to paint!
Suspension - It has a full global west coil over front suspension with Sway bars. Tubular upper and lower A Arms. The rear end is a Dana 44 independant rear suspension. Bought this for $1500 off ebay a few years ago. It's Mint! Just add powdercoat and be done!

Core Support is origional and rust free, wheel wells are aftermarket and brand new, Origional rust free hood hinges. I'm pretty sure every nut and bolt is seperated and in jars labeld for reassembly. Its setup for an LS swap or Big Block.

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
"Turbo" Chevrolet Camaro is a 700-HP fantasy car come to life [w/video]
Thu, 07 Feb 2013For a concept car built to promote an animated movie about a snail that wants to go racing, this thing ain't half bad. The outsized monster you see before you started life as a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and then went through a big-time Hollywood makeover before being positioned on the Chevrolet stand here in Chicago.
This 2013 "Turbo" Camaro Coupe is getting the promotion machine ratcheted up for a new DreamWorks tale by the name of, you guessed it, Turbo. Coming this summer, the movie will follow one snail's quest to become a race driver worthy of making the cut at the Indy 500. Like many DreamWorks vehicles before it, we're guessing that the petrolhead snail will star in a movie that adults (especially racing fans) with have no trouble watching with their kids. Check out the trailer below to see if you agree.
As for the car, we're told that it is "instrumental" in transforming Turbo from snail into racer. Helping the beastly pony car in this mighty task, is an ankle-cracking front splitter matched by a ungodly huge rear wing out back, a COPO hood and a supercharged (yes, supercharged) V8 engine making more than 700 horsepower. 24-inch wheels all the way around - 10-inches wide in front and 15-inches wide in back - should allow the "Turbo" Camaro to hook up with ease, as well.
Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it
Wed, 06 Nov 2013We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.
