2001 Chevrolet Malibu Ls Only 51k Miles W/ Handicap Chair Topper Wheelchair Lift on 2040-cars
New Columbia, Pennsylvania, United States
Here is a very sharp 2001 Chevrolet Malibu LS with only 51,xxx miles!!! Averaging less than 4k miles a year!! This Malibu comes equipped with the reliable 3.1l V6 engine giving it the power you want when you need it along with getting great mpg’s, NEW tires and brand NEW PA inspection. This sedan is in excellent condition both inside and out and also comes equipped with a Braun Chair topper. This is a handicapped wheelchair lift/carrier that lifts and stores the wheelchair inside, then will take it out and put it back on the ground with ease. These “chair toppers” are around $3,500 new and that’s not including installation. Here is the website if you’d like to check on the value of the chair lift, just give them your zip code. http://www.braunability.com/wheelchair-lifts/chair-topper/ If you want the vehicle, but not the topper please contact me and we'll discuss that process. It's not very difficult to remove these, so we'll come up with something. Or you could remove it yourself and sell it, whatever you want. Here are the Kelly Blue Book values on the vehicle by itself (without the chair topper) as of 3-8-2014 Excellent - $7,600 Very Good - $7325 Good - $7,200 Fair - $6,700 This vehicle in excellent condition with 51k miles, plus the chair topper easily puts the value near the $10k range, but I’m not expecting to get near that by any means. This is a “NO RESERVE” auction, so hopefully somebody gets a great deal. I do reserve the right to end the auction early due to it being for sale locally as well. I am also willing to take offers through here, so if you’d like to throw one out to me go ahead. Good luck and you will not be disappointed with this vehicle. |

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th
Tue, 15 Apr 2014It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards
Tue, 27 Nov 2012Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
The overall top 10 models for the best resale value in 2013 are, in alphabetical order:
Chevrolet planning low-cost Corvette under Stingray?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013If you're burnt out on musings about the Chevrolet Corvette, you'll want to go ahead and skip this post. Motor Trend reports General Motors is hard at work on a low-cost version of the seventh-generation sports car for 2015. Rumored to be called the Corvette Coupe, the car will forgo the Stingray and skip the 450-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine in favor of a 5.3-liter V8 with under 400 ponies. If you're keeping track, that's a shade of the same engine found behind the headlights of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The report also suggests the Coupe will receive a number of aesthetic tweaks to separate it from the Stingray, including different front and rear fascias as well as new front fenders and a rear diffuser. Motor Trend says the point of all this is to cut the car's price tag, which means we may see a Corvette on showroom floors for less than $50,000 if this car comes to fruition.
