Up for auction is a 1986 Chevy Monte Carlo Super Sport that is highly optioned. Features Super Sport package - T tops, bucket seats, console, tilt column, delay wipers, cruise control, posi 3.73 rear, AC, power locks and windows. The engine is a 350 Crate engine with 2.02 aluminum heads, comp hydraulic roller cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake, roller rockers, aluminum water pump, performance built quadrajet(non-electronic), headers with true dual exhaust. I kept the engine compartment appearing to be stock, you would have to look close to notice aluminum heads, intake, and headers. Engine has approx. 1,000 miles on it. Transmission is a 700R4 with a shift kit. The car was painted 2 years ago and received a complete weather stripping kit and new stripes. The interior has a new carpet, seat covers, headliner, console lid, sun visors, and GM floor mats. The car runs great and is very dependable. Starts every time and has never overheated. Just got the AC charged and is blowing cold. I recommend anyone who wants to bid to come see this car with your own eyes. I expect payment within 72 hours after auction ends - I understand the time restrictions but any serious buyers should be ready in time, I have another deal I need to close. GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada
Thu, 21 Feb 2013Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.
