You are bidding on a very unique and stunning Chevrolet muscle car. This car began its life as a rust free, solid 1971 Chevy Nova. It took several years, and thousands of dollars to create what you see today.. A very nice tribute to the infamous "YENKO DUECE"

1971 Chevrolet Nova Yenko tribute car. Car retains it's original and great running 350 cu in engine, with Q-jet 4bbl carb. A firm shifting TH350 transmission is backed by a 8.5" 10 bolt Posi rear end with 3.73 gears. Car has been refinished in a Beautiful bright red with the correct Black "Yenko" stripes and badges. Car has a near perfect black bench seat interior, complete with a 3 spoke sport wheel. All Chrome, glass, and bright work on the car is in great condition. Car was painted several years ago, but is still stunning, with only the usual very minor nicks and scratches that you would expect from a classic car, that has been driven and enjoyed. Car rolls on a very nice set of factory GM 14" 5 spoke wheels and F-70-14 Wide oval redline tires. Odometer shows 16k miles, but I can't verify actual mileage. This is a great car to cruise and enjoy, with great street manners and drivability on todays fuel. This Nova is a true crowd pleaser at a cruise night.. giving you the prestige and prowess of the "Yenko" nameplate, without the six figure price tag. Car is clean and respectable on the underside as well as inside the trunk. NO DISSAPOINTMENTS! If you are tired of looking at overpriced muscle cars with Chinese sheet metal and wavy paint, this is the car for you. Bid with confidence. Very modest reserve. The "buy it now" is a no brainer on this one!! Buyer is responsible for transport, but I may be able to recommend a carrier. Feel free to call or text for additional info. 234-855-6670. Good luck, and Happy bidding!

More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible is the track car for sun worshippers

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
