The 1974 Chevy Nova was bought brand new and is a 1 owner vehicle. It is now an antique car and the person in the family who bought it left it to the family and it remained in a garage for many years. Mechanically the car does run and does not have any kind of abnormalities in the exhaust or any strange sounds when started up/driven and everything is still intact but I believe it needs to be serviced for brakes so far. The body is in really good shape has a couple spots where paint wore off but overall it looks great on the interior and exterior. The interior has little to no wear and tear and is very clean. The only thing that needs cleaning is the engine as you can see in the pictures. Excuse the picture of the front end, I did not shut the hood of the car all the way down before I took the picture so anyone who may be questioning that, just know that the hood closes properly.
There is no inspection sticker and again, the buyer must be able to have it towed away because legally it cannot be driven on the road. the car is being sold AS IS and we have only changed the oil and replaced the battery so it is recommended that it be serviced to make sure other maintenance is or isn't necessary. Its probably one of the few antique cars that you will find this low in miles. Unfortunately because no one has any use for it we just want to sell it for someone who maybe collects or takes an interest in antique vehicles or someone who wants to enhance this car to its full potential.

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine
Fri, 08 Mar 2013Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.
GM takes heat for aborted Silverado riff on 'Boston Strong' at World Series
Thu, 31 Oct 2013During game five of the World Series, Chevrolet was set to do a spot of marketing for the 2014 Silverado - fans at Busch Stadium in St. Louis would hold up placards that spelled out the words "Silverado Strong," a theme that Chevy has been promoting since the Silverado's launch with the song "Strong," by Will Hoge. The St. Louis promo was ultimately called off, though, over concerns that it'd be insensitive to the visiting Boston Red Sox. (You can see the image of what the stunt would have looked like above, courtesy of one timely Reddit user.)
Now, the Busch Stadium stunt might not have been a big deal, had the St. Louis Cardinals not been playing the Boston Red Sox. Following the tragic events in Boston during the marathon back in April, the phrase "Boston Strong" gained traction among the city's citizens, especially at sporting events. So, you can imagine that Chevy's appropriation of the phrase might not sit well with some fans.
The stunt was ultimately shelved after images of the signs went viral before the game, leading to a bit of a public backlash. Chevy spokesperson Michael Albano said of the promo that it was meant to show the brand's "commitment to baseball and its fans." But after the images went viral, the company "realized there was the possibility that we may offend some of the very fans we were trying to honor," Albano told Automotive News via email.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
