This is 1966 Chevy II SS with a 377 c.i. Small block, Tremec TKO 600 5 speed, and Dana 60 rearend. It was originally a SS 6Cyl car. VIN# 117376W127470.A great looking 10 year old restoration. Very streetable and lots of fun to drive. It has an old school look to it. More like the way you would buy one of these cars back in the 60's. Lots of fun to drive on the street with option of open headers due to DMH electric cut outs. Car is fast and makes close to 500 horsepower. It has disc brakes in the front and drum in the rear. It also has a line lock. Car has been backhalfed. It has fiberglass fenders and trunk lid as well. Lots of money invested in Chassis/Suspension and Drivetrain. Being an older restoration, there are a few spots that have paint bubbling. One spot is the bottom drivers side door. The other pass roof drip rail. It has a stress crack in the paint on both front A pillars. There is another crack on the quarter panel body line which no one notices until I point it out. I have taken pictures of those spots to be as accurate as possible. I try to put as many pictures as possible plus videos. I took a video of the car outside and under fluorescent light in my garage. As we all know fluorescent lights show EVERYTHING. The paint still shines and has great depth for being 10 years old. Its not 100%. There are some light scratches and chips along edges of body panels. The car was built to be driven. All the glass is in great shape as well. The drivers rear quarter window starts to roll up and then you have to move it 1/4" then it will continue to roll up. The ebrake doesn't hold on steep inclines. It never really bothered me so I didn't do anything about it. The speedometer is off do to the tires and gears. You will see I have the cowl tag off the car because I smoothed out the firewall and never put it back on. I have no title for this car as in my state you don't need one for this old of one. This car is pretty much a street legal drag car. If you worried about slight vibrations then your not looking for an insane street car. The tires rub sometimes but a simple wheel change with more backspacing would take care of that. Or I am 99% sure a 295/50/15 street tire will take care of that no problem. This car has solid motor mounts. The car when warms idles at oil pressure 55-60 PSI. Cruising down the road at 2000RPM it has 60 PSI of oil pressure. Depending on the temperature outside it runs anywhere between 165-185. There are no electrical bugs in the car. This car is about going fast and still looking real good while doing it. From a 15-20mph roll on the street it just hooks and goes no tire spin. This car is for a true hot rodder. The car goes down the road straight. At 65 MPH your cruising around 2000 RPM. At 80 MPH your cruising around 2500 RPM. This past winter. I took apart the whole front chassis and rear suspension and repainted everything with single stage satin urethane. Rearend, leaf springs, spring plates, slide a links, front clip, steering rack, control arms, firewall, radiator support, inner fenders, master cylinder. Rear shocks were painted silver basecoat clearcoat. I put all new brake lines and hoses as well. Pretty much to make a fresh start for someone. Buyer to pay non refundable $1,000 deposit within 24 hours and full amount paid in full within 7 days. I will take cash in hand or a certified bank check. Car goes nowhere unil check clears. Buyer needs to find their own way of transporting the vehicle to them. If you have any questions please feel free to message me or call Two07-Six32-One761. I have no interest in trades. I have the right to end this auction at anytime due to it being for sale locally. Thanks

After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt. Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM. Scroll down for the official NHTSA statement.
General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units. GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
