This is a great start to a project. Im just out of time.

Mechanically things are pretty good and the previous owner clearly did a lot of work.  Engine starts easy and runs strong and smooth. No weird noises or leaks. Steering is tight. Clutch is good and gears all shift easily. There is a new master cylinder that is not installed so currently no brakes. Exhaust is working but I would personally look at an upgrade.

The body is above average. There is no visible rust. Cab corners, fenders, door bottoms, floor panels are all solid. There has been  a recent, decent  paint job (within the last 5 years?) - so there are scratches and blemishes and 1 fender has some paint loss, but that is it. I would use it as a daily driver tomorrow with that paint.

All chrome is present including newly chromed lower front grill and bumper. Windshield has been rebuilt but not installed. New rear window glass/seal included but not installed. Headliner material included but not installed.

Newly converted to 12v including new battery but nothing is yet hooked up. That's the next big job - finishing off the wiring. Its all there.

The other parts that are missing are the parklight bodies (I have the lenses) the running boards (the brackets are in place) and maybe the odd handle (I know the windshield crank handle is missing). Everything is easily available on ebay.

Tires are ok. I personally would run on them. They are a bit weather checked but have decent tread and have held air all winter without loss.

The box on the back is either really cool or really ugly depending on your taste. It has a locking side door so could be perfect for a tradesman for tools etc. I personally was going to go with a flatbed on the back. Anyway, it looks like an old camper that someone skillfully wrapped in tin with a funky slope on the back.

Please ask for additional photos/videos and ask questions before buying. Feel free to call me Markus 250-278-1222 to discuss.

Clear BC title. Truck is about 45 min. from Montana border and can be brought into the states.

I decided to take some photos of the box on the back. I was not going to use it myself so didn't care that much but thought I would do some close ups in case you wanted to keep it..

It is in worse shape then the cab. 1 fist sized dent above passenger side, a 6" strip of rust behind driver side rear wheel and a fair amount of scratches and small gaps where there are seams. No lights currently hooked up on the box  but a basic trailer light assembly is included for installation. Again, I was planning to put on a flatbed but just in case you wanted to use it as is.

Please email or call with any questions and I will gladly document the area you want to see up close. Considering a rusty shell is between $1-3k, I think there is a lot of value here for the money...

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.

2015 Chevrolet Cruze spied on its home turf

Tue, 23 Apr 2013

The next Chevrolet Cruze isn't set to go into production for about another year, and we're just now seeing prototypes of the new compact running around here in the States. Not much more has been revealed since we saw the car blasting through the snow in Europe, but we can still clearly see new design elements like the larger grille, slimmer headlamps and redesigned taillamps.
Our spy photographers worked up a composite image of this Cruze prototype alongside the current model, and here, we can clearly see some big visual changes are in store for the new model. The 2015 Cruze's hood slopes downward more dramatically, the windshield is more heavily raked, and the roofline looks more fluid overall. The next-generation Cruze will ride on the new global Delta platform that will also underpin other General Motors vehicles like the Chevrolet Volt and Equinox.
As for what's under the hood, we expect the normal range of gasoline four-cylinder engines (both naturally aspirated and turbocharged), and the compact's new turbodiesel four should carry over, as well. Have a look at the full brace of spy photos in the gallery above.
