This truck runs and drives excellent. The tires and brakes are in excellent condition. Like all my cars, this one needs nothing. Nice after market JVC disc player. Plenty of power to tow or transport anything. Nice comfortable bench seat, smooth shifting five speed transmission. No rust. ( look at the bottom of the doors ) Solid truck. I only sell cars on this site, so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a car from me. EVERY feedback from a buyer, is for a car like this one. NO exceptions. Please call me ( Dickie ) if you woul like more information or to make arrangements. My number is: 508 994-9206. Take care, Dickie. PS Please notice that after ten years on ebay motors ( 38 years in business ) I received one negative feedback. I sold a nice Stratus to an individual named Skip Bell, who met with me to pick up the car in person. It had manual windows and I explained to him that the driver's side window sometimes would stick but otherwise it was ok. He tried it and liked it. When he arrived home in New Jersey, he left a message for me saying how much he liked the car. He called later and wanted me to pay his mechanic $258.00 to install a new window regulator. I told him I could buy one, send it to him and pay his mechanic to install it. ( Regulators like that are available on ebay for $50.00 to $75.00. ). He refused. Then he left negative feedback for things like brakes. No mention of the window. I kept the message, because it is perfectly legal to do so. I will be more than happy to play it for anyone. I don't think I have to explain what he was trying to do. I'm proud of my reputation and I work hard at it. Thanks, Dickie.

Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?

Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.
Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
