You are looking a clean 1984 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado pickup. Until this year this truck was in the same family since new, The paint is in better than fair conditon with a repaint sometimes in the 90s. With the exception of minor surface rust at the bottom of the sliding back glass (I took a picture of this) this truck has no rust bubbling at all. The interior though will need some work.The dash is cracked and the seat will need to be recovered. Everything works including the cold air conditoning along with the power windows, power locks, power steering, power disc brakes, radio and tilt wheel. The tires are nearly new with 2k miles on them. The truck had a remanufactured 305 4V motor installed along with a transmission rebuild little over 2k ago We have all of the receipts.The truck hits the road good with no issues.This Chevy currently belongs to a friend of mine and the reason he is selling it is to have funds toward a purchse of a newer car.He can be reached at 252-946-9547 anytime. 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.

General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns
Thu, 31 Jan 2013Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.
