This is an awesome attention getting 2001 Chevy truck. I purchased this truck in 2001 from the dealer and began customizing it shortly after. I'm selling it because I have more vehicles than parking. I have truly enjoyed this truck and its time for someone else to have some fun with it. The A/C is ice cold. The paint job is custom. Its factory yellow with Hugger Orange flames with long licks that fade to ghost. This is a Show Quality Paint job that can be entered into competitions. Front end is chromed out with billet grill insert. As you will see in the pics there is a lot of custom work done to this truck. All Alpine door speakers and tweeters provide the mid-range and highs for any music of your choice and are powered by Alpine Amplifier. The Sub is under the rear seat and is powered by Rockford Fosgate 1500 amp. The Alpine MP3 player and XM Tuner is remote controlled and I mostly play my Ipod on it. All maintenance has been kept up with. Tires are a Year old. Rims are nice but showing a little wear. I appreciate your interest in my truck and I'm positive you are going to enjoy driving it. GM looks to combat high theft rates on SUVs with added tech

The Cadillac Escalade has been at or near the top of most-stolen and insurance-loss lists for more than seven years, until it dropped to number six earlier this year. In 2011 it was fitted with a host of new security features to address its easy-to-override features and that has brought the number of thefts down, but when eight of the ten most stolen rides are large SUVs from General Motors, no one will argue that something else needs to be done.
Thus, GM has fitted this same theft-deterring tech to the 2015 Suburban, Tahoe and Yukon. The Suburban and Tahoe will get the steering lock that the Escalade and Yukon already get, plus bolted-down third-row seats to deter thefts like this, stronger door lock cylinders and shields, and side-cut keys to inhibit picking.
Additional security measures in a Theft Protection Package can be purchased for $395, consisting of sensors on the greenhouse glass and interior, an incline/tilt sensor and added "key control systems" to make it more difficult for the men in black balaclavas to steal what you bought.

Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]

The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22.
