Up for sale is a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2 door 2 wheel drive.  Truck was involved in a accident.  There doesn't appear to be any frame damage, Looks the the telephone phone went perfectly in between the frame horns.  The accident didn't kick the air bags out. The trucks starts runs and lot drives. It has dings here and there such as any vehicle will have that age.  Good low miles.  Motor runs strong and transmission went into gear nicely.  Tires have roughly 70-80% tread.  Manual windows and electric locks.  The back glass is busted and the Bed header panel is dented in some. The truck had a small load of dirt in the bed when the accident happened, hence the dent to the bed header panel and the busted back glass.  The vehicle comes with TN certification of sales under special conditions paperwork.  This acts as a title.  It is filled out just like a normal title is and then the state will send you out a clean title in your name once registered.  You don't have to go through a rebuilt inspection or anything.  This paperwork is the same as a garage keepers lien, tow company lien etc.  We have sold numerous vehicles with this paperwork and no one has ever had a single problem getting a regular title back in their name.

Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding.  If you have less than 10 positive feedback you MUST email me prior to bidding or your bid WILL be canceled no questions asked.  A deposit in the amount of $350.00 is due IMMEDIATELY AT AUCTION END.  THIS IS NON-NEGOITABLE.  Balance must be paid within 5 business days or deposit will be lost and vehicle resold.  If you cannot abide by these terms, do not bid.  I reserve the right to end the auction at any time or any reason I deem necessary as the vehicle is for sale locally.  Thanks,

I will post more pictures later on today.

Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit

Mon, 20 Jun 2011

Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.

Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.

UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
