2008 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab

Adjustable air ride lift kit

I just took in this really nice 2008 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab LS. It's equipped with a 4.8 liter V8 power windows locks shift on the floor 4x4 and keyless entry. The previous owner bought the truck this was so I don't have all the specs for the lift and air so bare with me on all this truck.  It has a Rough Country suspension lift kit which looks like a 7.5 then there is a body spacer as well. In addition to that it has a Air Lift Company air ride suspension that's adjustable from 6 to 10 inches and has a wireless remote control. The truck is sitting on 37's 13.50 x 18 tires and XD wheels. This is a really cool looking truck. It's huge. K&N Filter Pro Comp Tires I'm sure I'm forgetting something but you get the idea.

The only blemishes on this truck are a few scratches on one rear door on the interior side show in one of the photos. Normal use scratches in bed not shown. And finally 3 long scratches on the front bumper which aren't overly noticeable. This truck is for sale on my lot so I reserve the right to sell at any time. Financing is available. To give you an idea on payments you could be looking at $430's per month with $5000 down for 72  months. With Approved credit.

TRADES WELCOME, You'll never know what we will give you for your trade unless you ask.

Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit

Mon, 20 Jun 2011

Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.

2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut

Sat, 16 Feb 2013

Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.

Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. You can head over to the Auctions America site for more information. You can also check out the trailer for The Hunter below.
