1999 Chevrolet Silverado C/k3500 Diesel, Low Miles on 2040-cars
Madison Heights, Virginia, United States
This is a powerful, great looking and great running truck. It has very low miles (80,300). The only flaws are cosmetic: The paint is chipping around the wheel wells (no rust, though). The carpet is stained in places. The dashboard has sun damaged, and the handle on the tailgate does not work properly.
The truck features a V8 Diesel engine, automatic transmission, dual rear wheels, leather seats, AM/FM Cassette & single CD player, air conditioning, cruise control, automatic windows, automatic locks, automatic sliding rear window, two fuel tanks with tool box over second tank, reclining rear seats, Centurion customizing package. I am selling this truck for my father who bought it from a dealer in Florida in March of 2005. Apart from regular maintenance, there have been no mechanical problems. The truck has performed fantastically. The only reason we are selling it is because his health is failing him and he no longer needs the truck. The title is clear. There is no payment required when selecting buy it now. Payment in full when you pick the truck up. Delivery not available. |

Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes
Tue, 28 Aug 2012
Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.
Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada
Thu, 21 Feb 2013Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
