1999 Suburban 1500 4 wheel drive LT model. 164k original miles runs fine 4 wheel drive works NO RUST ISSUES nice frame and underside. Interior is starting to crack up and is not perfect but not hateful either. This was a local trade-in at out dealership and I have personally drove it the last 500 miles or so even to pull my boat once. Transmission shifts smooth and firm no issues the check engine light is on I scanned it and it needs a TPS sensor ($20) 5 minute fix. Also after driving a while the service 4wd light will come on. Nothing is wrong 4wd works fine and there is no grinding or any noises transfer case is quiet have not looked into that but after almost 500 miles I never had an issue with the vehicle and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Pint is good a few minor nicks and scratches but over-all is in good shape and again NO RUST ISSUES. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION so bid to win ! A $500 Deposit is due 48hrs after auction end with balance due within 5 days. Vehicle has been described to the best of my knowledge and runs and drives without any issues. First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild
Tue, 12 Feb 2013This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.
2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel destined for Chicago debut
Mon, 28 Jan 2013It's been a little over a year and a half since General Motors first confirmed plans to offer a diesel-powered Chevrolet Cruze here in the United States, and we've now learned that the oil-burning compact will debut under the lights of the Chicago Auto Show in February. According to GM Authority, the Cruze Eco-D will be introduced as part of the entire 2014 model year Cruze range, set to go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
Earlier reports have indicated that the diesel Cruze will be able to achieve fuel economy numbers in the range of 50 miles per gallon. For comparison, the similarly sized Volkswagen Jetta TDI is rated at 30/42 mpg city/highway, but as we found out in our long-term test of the 2011 model, hitting 50 mpg was a piece of cake.
Official specifications will be released at the time of the 2014 Cruze's unveiling, though reports have stated that the sedan will be powered by a reworked version of the 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-four found in the Holden Cruze CDX overseas. In that application, the four-pot oil-burner produces 160 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque - increases of 20 hp and 29 lb-ft over the 2.0-liter engine used in VW's Jetta TDI.
