For Sale is a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban. Email with any questions. Thank you!

Drives excellent since we have owed it. I have replaced the plugs, wires, air filter, oil filter, and

synthetic oil before scheduled, always. Parked Indoors. Our MPG averages between 16.5 to

19.4. Matching 4 Goodyear Tracker 2 tires are newer. Spare is under vehicle with easy jack handle

type removal. Looks great and shines nice with Grey Metallic finish. Interior in great shape. Bucket

seats, 2nd and 3rd row cloth, charcoal grey color seats. No rips, tears, and no smoking, also. Like

any 8 year old vehicle, ours also is not flawless.  CD player is tempermental. Radio and cassette

player are excellent. Has Onstar which works. If one looks real close there are brush

type scatches very minimal. We live in a rural area. If you would like, we can give the Suburban a nice

buffing and wax job. Other than these few things, It is a great looking and driving SUV! Has

running boards, roof racks, tow package (we never used it for towing as we have a F-350 4x4), and

the lift gate window on the rear door  comes in very handy.  I reserve the right to end the listing early

as it is for sale locally.

Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut

Thu, 07 Mar 2013

We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum

Fri, 02 May 2014

Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.

Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.
