2005 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 LT 4WD in good condition. Truck has been maintained perfectly with all records to show. Has new BF Goodrich AT Tires less than 6K on them, new starter, iPod interface, navigation system, and new knock sensors installed. The interior leather has not tears and the interior is in very good shape. It has Husky liner floor mats throughout , all rows and rear cargo area. There are small marks on the carpet and rear cargo area from use and on the driver door panel at the door pull from use. The exterior is 8 out of 10 in good condition. There are small rock nicks in places on the front and small scratches as expected on a nine year old vehicle but all have been touched up with touchup paint. Overall the truck has been well taken care of and has no mechanical issues. The oil has been changed every 3000 miles almost to the mile with Mobil 5000 5-w30 and a Lucus oil treatment every time. The truck uses no oil and has not leaks. It pulls trailers, boat etc. very well. We use it every summer to pull our boat. I do not think anyone will be disappointed with this vehicle. Subprime financing on the rise in new car sales, leasing too
Fri, 07 Dec 2012We all remember the financial crisis that began several years back. At its core was a splurge of subprime lending for housing loans. The housing bubble burst, triggering a collapse of the mortgage-backed securities market. Apparently, those types of loans still exist in the automotive industry, and the market share for these types of "nonprime, subprime, and deep subprime," loans has grown 13.6 percent compared to the third quarter a year ago.
According to an Automotive News report, high-risk lending expanded to 24.8 percent of total loans in Q3, up from 21.9 percent for this time last year. As this level increased, average credit scores of borrowers dropped to 755, down from 763 a year ago. In that time, the average financing amount increased $90 per vehicle, to $25,963.
At 818, Volvo maintains the highest per-owner credit score, while Mitsubishi has the lowest, at 694. The highest rate of borrowers was at Toyota, with 14 percent of the market, followed by Ford with 13.1 percent and Chevrolet at 11.1.
