The truck runs great! It needs new windshield wiper blades, tags, and inspection. One of the backseat door inside handles needs to be fixed. The driver door latch needs to be replaced. On a cold start it takes a couple of tries to get started, but a new crank sensor will take care of that. One of the rear doors is stuck shut (not sure why it won't open). The truck just had an oil change and tune up (plugs/wires and fuel filter). There are a few minor dents on the outside, and a few minor (fixable) inside cosmetic issues. If you want a truck that will get you where you need to go, then this is it. I am labeling the truck as fair condition, but with just a few minor fixes, it will be good condition. I prefer local cash buyers only.

GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns

Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers.
