2005 Chrysler Crossfire Limited Convertible 2-door 3.2l on 2040-cars
Woodstock, Vermont, United States
Here is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a fabulous, low mileage Chrysler Crossfire Limited Convertible. Driven less than 24000 miles this is an outstanding example. As you probably know Crossfires were designed and built by Mercedes Benz in Germany and imported to select Daimler Chrysler dealers here in the States. Based on Mercedes fine SLK series these are fabulous driving machines offering superior performance and comfort. Equipped with all factory options including power heated leather seats, premium stereo including CD changer, Navigation, staggered 18 and 19 inch alloy wheels with performance tires, fully automatic padded cloth soft top, and much, much more. Exterior finish is nearly new, never any accidents or paintwork. Interior carpets, panels, seats, dash and all instruments are as new. Fully serviced by a Benz dealer prior to being stored this winter. Now that spring has finally arrived this car is ready to be enjoyed. Absolutely needs nothing, drives, handles and performs like new car. Please check my feedback. I am not a traditional dealer, just an individual who enjoys fine motorcars and takes great pride in offering a few select automobiles to enthusiasts like myself. I will happily arrange a personal inspection by appointment. Email any questions, all will be answered honestly and promptly. Bid with confidence, I promise you will not be disappointed in this automobile. |

Chrysler Group moves around execs in wake of recent departure
Tue, 16 Apr 2013Chrysler is busy shuffling executives around in the wake of Ram head Fred Diaz's departure. The automaker has named Reid Bigland (pictured, right) as Diaz's successor in the role of president and CEO of Ram, though Bigland will continue his duties as the head of US sales and the president and CEO of Chrysler Canada. Bigland first came to Chrysler in 2006 from Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, so the guy knows a thing or two about trucks.
Meanwhile, Timothy Kuniskis will take over as president and CEO of Dodge. Previously, he served as the head of Fiat in North America and has been with Chrysler in one capacity or another since 1992. His old title now falls to Jason Stoicevich, who will also continue to work as the director of the automaker's California Business Center. Finally, Bruno Cattori will take over as the president and CEO of Chrysler Mexico.
Diaz left his position to take over as a divisional vice president of sales and marketing with Nissan. You can read the full press release on the Chrysler personnel changes below for more information.
Jeep Cherokee faces on-sale delay
Sat, 23 Mar 2013A report in The Wall Street Journal looks at some of the obstacles to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee that go beyond its mootable yet "very contemporary" looks, almost all of them based on Fiat's financial position. Starting with that sheetmetal, in defense of it SRT president Ralph Gilles and Jeep design head Mark Allen said they wanted to "make sure the design still looks modern five years from now."
The WSJ piece doesn't cite longevity as a factor, instead saying that its features originated in a design for an Alfa Romeo, the transformation into a Jeep design meant allowing Chrysler get it to market more quickly and save "hundreds of millions of dollars" in engineering.
The need for Fiat to save money while it weathers the European situation has cut budgets for development, engineering and the pace of retooling the Toledo, Ohio plant to build the Cherokee. In a familiar case of snowballing at work, among the effects will be pushing back the Cherokee's volume sales date and delaying updates to some of Chrysler's other products.
Are you the 2015 Chrysler 300?
Tue, 16 Sep 2014When Chrysler showed us its hand and revealed its five-year product plan to the world, we learned that the updated 300 sedan will bow at the LA Auto Show in November. Now, thanks to Allpar, we might have our first (super grainy) look at the new sedan a full two months ahead of its official debut.
Unlike its Dodge Charger platform mate, the new 300 isn't really all that different from the model currently on sale. That said, we're not sure if the changes shown here really reflect styling that we'd call "better," with the company's logo sort of floating at the top of the grille, and a more simplistic front end that lets the schnoz stick out a bit. Again, nothing drastic to talk about, but the new tweaks are kind of weak. Of course, we'll wait until we see the finished product in the metal before we make up our minds.
Don't expect things to change too much in terms of interior refinement or powertrain offerings, as well, with all the same leather and technology we've enjoyed in the 300 before, and the usual 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 powertrain options. We'll know for sure when the car shows its freshened face in Los Angeles in November.
