Purple PT Cruiser Convertible Touring Edition with a 2.4L Turbo Engine. This has been a great car for us. We are the original owners and this cruiser is a ton of fun to drive and has a lot of power with the Turbo Engine. This car has been well taken care of and all maintenance has been by certified mechanics. The oil was changed every 3000 miles and tires rotated regularly. We have put aftermarket Maxxim Racing wheels on the car which have held up sooooo much better than the factory wheels. We have always hand-washed the car which has kept the rag-top in really nice shape. The headlights have been replaced as the old plastic was starting to yellow. Also included is the convertible top cover which snaps on when the convertible top is down. The vehicle also has a surprisingly large truck for a convertible.
The car has a normal amount of nicks and scratches that a 9 year old car would have. The clear coat is starting to peel up in a few places around the front bumper and near the headlights as you can see in the photos. |

Chrysler and Google launch virtual 200 factory tour [w/video]
Tue, 23 Sep 2014Google is no stranger to showing off some of the most interesting automotive destinations in the world, like the museums for Lamborghini and Ducati, or even a Tesla showroom. However, it's taking that technology even further with a new, in-depth look of the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant where the Chrysler 200 is made. Unlike these earlier online excursions, the new Chrysler factory tour is a fully guided experience that includes several 360-degree videos explaining many parts of the production process.
"Just as we pioneered a completely new Chrysler 200, we are pioneering a new way for consumers to research a vehicle. The Factory Tour is an opportunity for us to prove to consumers that the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 is not one ever built before," said Olivier Francois, Chrysler's chief marketing officer, in the company's release.
Chrysler was already pretty proud of its nearly $1 billion in recent updates to the Sterling Heights factory having released a look at the 200's assembly process earlier this year. However, the new Google tour goes far deeper by including 12 videos, and between highlighted stops, viewers can swing the camera all over to get a full view of the action. The whole thing is an intriguing way to show the way a modern car gets built.
2014 Chrysler 300S gets all black and blue
Fri, 15 Nov 2013Outside of the SRT variant, if you want the sharpest-looking Chrysler 300, you'll probably want the 300S trim. This showy variant has traditionally sported larger wheels and some subtle body changes to set it apart from the herd, along with its own unique take on the big sedan's interior.
For 2014, the S will be set apart even further. A number of exterior items will be blacked-out, including black chrome around the grille and Chrysler badges finished in a liquid-chrome finish with a black center. Black moldings are standard, while owners can get an extra dose of style by opting to have the roof painted Gloss Black. Hyper Black 20-inch wheels are standard on the rear-drive model, while 19s are fitted to the all-wheel-drive variant. Smoked tail and headlights round out the package.
The cabin, meanwhile, gets a new trim option - Ambassador Blue. The pale, blue Nappa leather features contrasting, silver French stitching found on the seats and the door armrests.
