I have loaded many pictures but if there is an area you would like to see please let me know and I will add more pictures."

I purchased this car from the original owner and as far as we can tell it has not been out of the garage or on the road since 1999. I pulled the gas tank out and had it flushed out installed new fuel filters and  replaced the fuel pump and some of the fuel lines also installed an edelbrock  carburetor and it starts and runs great. I did drive it up and down the road just to make sure everything was working as good as it could for a car that has been sitting for 20+ years.

Ok now for what I know about this car, it does have the numbers matching 340cu in V8 engine in it I can't tell about the transmission I have not found the numbers on it yet. It is an S code Rallye with the 150mph speedo,  until the owner decided to spray it with black primer it was an F3 code green with a black interior. For all the other original equipment I have a nice picture of the fender tag included in my pictures.

The Good;

As you can see in the pictures other than surface rust the under side of it as nice as I have ever seen.

Interior other than the front seats and head liner is in great shape.

340 engine does not smoke and it sound like a mild cam has been put in at some point,

It has been sitting in on my concrete garage floor for 6 months and has not leaked any fluids but I can see some damp areas on the transmission but not enough to leak on the floor yet.

Trunk floor looks solid with no holes but the sealer needs replace and surface rust removed and painted.

Rallye wheels and tires look very good but I think I would replace the tires since it sat so long?

Clean Ohio title!!!!

Very low miles 69908!!!!!!!!

Both doors look great!! no rust at all ever on the seams.

For the Bad;

Rear quarters both have had work but I don't think they will need replaced and the wheel wells look good, front fenders have both had some repair done at the front and lower rear. bumpers need rechromed unless you like that black primer look. Front seats need recovered, carpet is gone. I think fuses but not sure since radio and a couple gauges don't work.

All in all though for someone wanting a real classic muscle car with minimal expense and if you are able to do the work yourself I think this is a great car to start with.

I do have the car listed locally for $9500.00 or trades entertained, and it may possibly sell before the auction ends so that is why I also put a buy it now on.

If you have any questions please email and I will do my best to answer them.

NHTSA investigating Ram 1500 models for rear differential failure

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and its Ram brand following a number of reports regarding the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. According to 15 consumer complaints, the trucks' rear differential locked up while in other cases, the driveshaft separated at its connection to the diff.
Nearly half of the reports claim the truck was traveling at or above 50 miles per hour, while two consumers reported that the diff lockup/driveshaft separation sent their pickups into a spin. Most troubling, though, is that consumers reported little to no sound indicating there was a problem with their truck.
We reached out to Ram for additional information, such as how many vehicles may be affected or what equipment might be fitted that could cause the issue. Unfortunately, the company wasn't willing to elaborate on specifics.

2015 Dodge Viper getting small increase in power

Tue, 29 Jul 2014

The Viper is used to being the most powerful car in the Dodge and SRT stables, but the arrival of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat means that's no longer the case. The serpentine supercar is, however, reportedly getting a small boost in output for 2015, amounting to all of five horsepower.
The increase was uncovered by Road & Track courtesy of the SAE J1349 certification process to which Detroit's Big Three automakers submit themselves and which reports the Viper's output at 645 hp instead of the 640 it was rated at until now. There are a hundred factors that could have contributed to the relatively mild boost in output (best guess? nothing at all changed...), but we doubt anyone's going to complain about some extra horses under the hood.
The five-horsepower boost brings the Viper that much closer to the 650-hp Chevy Corvette Z06, not to mention the 707-hp Hellcat, but the Viper's impressive power-to-weight ratio ought to mean it'll have little problem keeping up in a straight line - which is just one of the reasons why Chrysler won't shoe-horn the Hellcat into the Viper: as R&T points out, the supercharged engine is too heavy and the blower makes it too tall to fit in the Viper's engine bay.

Dodge to reveal Hellcat-powered Challenger in Detroit?

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

On top of all the other performance car debuts slated for next week's Detroit Auto Show, we might be able to add one more to the list - the new, supercharged Hellcat V8 from Chrysler. According to new reports, the rumored 640-horsepower mill is likely to cross the Motor City stage in the engine bay of a Dodge Challenger.
As AllPar points out, though, there may be more news than just the fire-breathing engine. While we've seen spy photos of the Hellcat testing under the hood of the current Challenger, there's a very fair chance that it won't arrive until the muscle car is refreshed later this year. The question now is whether that refresh will be shown off alongside the new engine in Detroit, or if it'll be saved, perhaps for the New York Auto Show.
Other details dug up by AllPar include potential transmissions for the supercharged engine - the Mopar-minded site is expecting an eight-speed automatic or a Tremec six-speed manual. Prices, meanwhile, could be in the same elevated range as the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, at $70,000 to $80,000.
