This is a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T with the 440 magnum ho motor. The car is all numbers matching and is all original and is a true R/T car.It has the tic-toc-tach guages. The car has been sitting in storage for the last 20 years. The guy i bought the car from bought it and took the motor out and took it all apart so it is in pieces and most of the motor is there. The car has some rust holes behind the rear wheels on both sides and a big dent on the pasenger side behind the door. All the glass is there and in real good shape. It has the white vinal top and white interior so they call that a White Hat Special so im  told. The paint is dark green metallic with the longitudinal stripe. has a/c but the pump is missing. It has very solid floors and the frame rails are solid.3 tires do not hold air but they can be pumped up to put on a trailer and be moved around. It has the floor shifter with center counsle so its an automatic. The dash is real nice there are no crack in it anywhere but there is a little plastic piece at the bottom of the steering column that is broke.I bought the car almost 2 years ago and since then have had 2 kids and no time to work on it so i hope someone would give this car a good home and restore. If you need more info or pics please contact me and i will help you out the best i can cell# 1-815-541-8691 so dont hesitate to call me.

We cruised Woodward in the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat [w/video]

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

We were definitely rock stars at the 20th edition of the Dream Cruise.
The yell came from somewhere in the crowd: "Hey Hellcat, push it!" We obliged with a jab of the throttle, and the 707 horses of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat roared to life. It went on like this. All weekend. It's one thing to attend the Woodward Dream Cruise, it's quite another to star in it.

Help find Kenny Wayne Shepherd's stolen 1972 Dodge Charger

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Judging by his collection of cars, blues musician Kenny Wayne Shepherd (shown above, at left, with fellow musician George Thorogood) is an enthusiast of classic Dodge muscle cars, so it's no surprise that he is an active member of Mopar-related online communities. When his 1972 Dodge Charger turned up missing from an LA-area warehouse last Wednesday, Shepherd took to the forums of Moparts.org in an attempt to get the word out in hopes of recovering his custom classic.
The Charger was stolen along with four other vehicles, and Hot Rod reports that two women have been taken into custody since - but still no word on the car. With its blacked-out appearance (including custom Foose wheels), this car is definitely hard to miss, but Shepherd also said that the car might be even more distinguishable now due to some body damage that may have occurred as it was being driven from the warehouse lot. Shepherd's website has a full gallery of images for this '72 Charger, which also has a modern 392-cubic-inch V8 under the hood and a six-speed gearbox pulled from a Viper.
If you're in the LA area and happen to see this car, Shepherd asks that you call the LAPD West Valley Division at 818-374-7611. Here's to hoping this one-of-a-kind Charger turns up unscathed.

Dodge CEO and Gas Monkey Garage dissect the 10-second Challenger Hellcat

Fri, 11 Jul 2014

So far, whenever we've seen the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 707-horsepower, supercharged Hellcat V8, the muscle car has been smoking its tires. Dodge is finally proving that the SRT can do more than ruin perfectly good sets of rubber, though. In it's latest video, company CEO Tim Kuniskis hands the Hellcat off to the guys from Gas Monkey Garage to show how quickly the automaker's most powerful model can make it down the drag strip.
Of course, the only fitting contender to race against Dodge's latest top muscle car is its grandpa - a Hemi-powered 1971 Challenger, in this case. Before getting to the main event, the hosts also show off some of the SRT's unique features like the blanks in the grille that feed the intercoolers. We'll go ahead and spoil that the Hellcat makes its pass in the 10-second range, and the video admits the tires on the production version would take just a touch longer to cover the quarter-mile. However, you have to watch film to see just how quick it actually goes. Scroll down to see a classic example of American muscle drag racing against its modern legacy.
