1968 Dodge Coronet Station Wagon Special Order 9 Passenger Factory 4bbl Dual Ext on 2040-cars
Standish, Michigan, United States
For Sale
1968 Dodge Coronet Station Wagon 440 model - 9 passenger Factory 383 came with factory 4bbl (lost in fire) and factory dual exhaust. I had looked it up several years ago and I believe it to be 1 of 98 built because it is a 9 passenger and was equipped with factory 4bbl and factory dual exhaust. I bought the car sight unseen around 2003/2004 from a friend of a friend. The car did run back then and has been in storage for 1/2 that time. The brakes need work and the carb will need to be replace along with the front windshield but it would make a great daily driver. It could also make an awesome tow vehicle for someone with a small 2-door Mopar drag car (after putting on some disc brakes). The car is pretty much stock and numbers matching (Stock Engine/Transmission/drive train) The car is located in Standish Michigan Not interested in trades unless you have a 1966-77 Bronco. This is the only thing I'd consider. I'm selling this under my girlfriends Ebay account, so questions may take up to a day to get answered. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time and for any reason. The car is being sold as is and there is no warranty or guarantee of any kind. Serious bidders and buyers only. I don't need to sell the car but I'd rather someone have it that is going to work on it and enjoy it, if I can't get what I want for the car it will stay in place untill I get around to working on it. Payment due within 3 days of end of auction. |

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles: The next five years
Tue, 06 May 2014Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you've no doubt read about all of the big future product news coming out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles today. We had individual brand reports from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Maserati and even Ferrari, but in the interest of simplifying and summarizing, we're going to list out the hard facts once more. Of course, with all of this still off in the future, there's still the possibility that a few changes will be made. But as of what we know right now, here's what's coming, and what's going away.

Chrysler's Jefferson North plant builds 5-millionth SUV [w/video]
Thu, 15 Aug 2013Chrysler's Jefferson North Assembly Plant opened in 1992 for production of the first Jeep Grand Cherokee, but in the subsequent years, the Detroit plant has gone on to produce some of the company's biggest SUVs including the Jeep Commander and Dodge Durango. Earlier this week, the plant produced its five-millionth SUV, which, fittingly, was a Grand Cherokee.
Celebrating the plant's five-millionth unit, the silver 2014 Grand Cherokee was promptly donated to the USO. In addition to this milestone SUV, Chrysler also had a near-perfect 1993-95 ZJ Grand Cherokee on hand for the photo op. Scroll down for the Chrysler press release as well as a video showing some of the speeches from the celebration.
Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
