Beautiful 2013 ROLLX WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. This almost new van is a ONE OWNER and has a CLEAN CARFAX!!  As you can see from the pictures, the ROLLX conversion is BRAND NEW with a warranty start date on the conversion of June 30, 2014!  The center seats were removed when the floor was lowered.  This van has a POWER IN-THE-FLOOR RAMP which when not being used is tucked away under the floor completely hidden and out of the way.  The floor of the van has been lowered 11 inches giving a whopping 58 inches of head room, that’s almost 5 feet high! The POWER SLIDING DOOR opening has also been increased to 54.5 inches high with an extended width of 31.5 inches.  The total cargo area length is 84 inches (7 Feet) long and 66.5 inches in width with both doors closed.   The distance from the front of the rear seat to the clip-in base in the front (the area the chair would be) is 54.5 inches.   The ramp itself is 50 inches long and a comfortable 30 inches wide.  The front and rear clips for the chair are exceptionally easy to use and their track is long making clipping the chair easy from many different areas.  One touch/push remotes make operating the ramp simple.  With the push of one button, the power sliding door opens, the van kneels down and the ramp slides completely out.  When you are ready to move simply push the button one more time and the ramp slides back under the floor, the van tilts back to its original position, and the door closes!  Check out the short videos of these processes on the Rollx Vans site. If you want any additional accessories, Rollx will send someone to you! The same with the warranty! One call to Rollx and they will come to you. Please call with any questions and to set up an appointment to come see and test drive this wonderful van. We have 2 more in other popular colors. See our website for more info about us and these vans.. Please call 973.227.2600 for more detailed information.

2013 Dodge Challenger V6 recalled for fire risk, owners asked not to drive

Sun, 17 Mar 2013

Chrysler has issued a recall for the V6 version of the 2013 Dodge Challenger (as pictured above in 2012MY) over the possibility of a wiring harness that could short circuit and lead to a fire. Owners of these V6 Challengers built from November 2012 through January 2013 are being urged to contact dealers immediately and, in the meantime, not to drive their cars or park in or near any buildings.
Chrysler estimates around 2,500 potentially affected Challengers are in owners' hands, while another 1,900 are still sitting on dealer lots. The total number of recalled vehicles is 4,459.
So far, Chrysler says that seven fires have been reported - none resulting in injuries. The company is instructing vehicle owners to contact their dealer to find out if their vehicle is included in the recall, but owners can also find the build date information of their vehicle by checking the label in the driver's door jamb.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has 707 glorious horsepower [w/video]

Tue, 01 Jul 2014

Hold onto your butts. "600-plus horsepower" is what we were told to expect from the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 engine. But as we've just learned, those were incredibly conservative numbers. Dodge has officially announced that the range-topping Challenger will hit the asphalt with 707 - seven hundred and seven - horsepower, making it the "most powerful muscle car ever."
Of course, 707 hp is only part of the story, as the Hellcat has also been confirmed to produce 650 pound-feet of torque. All that power will run exclusively to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission that differs from other Challengers. The new gearbox, 8HP90 (rather than the 8HP70) is "upgraded to handle the extra power and torque," says Dan Reid, SRT's manager of product design and motorsports.
We certainly hope you're prepared to spend a ton of money replacing tires.

NHTSA investigating Ram 1500 models for rear differential failure

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and its Ram brand following a number of reports regarding the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. According to 15 consumer complaints, the trucks' rear differential locked up while in other cases, the driveshaft separated at its connection to the diff.
Nearly half of the reports claim the truck was traveling at or above 50 miles per hour, while two consumers reported that the diff lockup/driveshaft separation sent their pickups into a spin. Most troubling, though, is that consumers reported little to no sound indicating there was a problem with their truck.
We reached out to Ram for additional information, such as how many vehicles may be affected or what equipment might be fitted that could cause the issue. Unfortunately, the company wasn't willing to elaborate on specifics.
