I've decided to sell one of my cars to make room in my collection. I'm the second owner of this beautiful Dodge Magnum that always turns heads every time you step on the gas. I bought it in 2008 and the car has never seen snow and was rarely driven in the rain. Basically a Sunday car that barely made it out on Sundays. The body is flawless and has never been in a wreck. The leather interior is perfect, still smells new and was never smoked in. This car has just about every option available in 2006. Power moon roof, Full Navigation with large in dash display. Bose 6 Disc in dash stereo that sounds amazing. The suspension was professionally lowered 1.5 rear/2.5 front via Drop Zone springs. The wheels are 20x9 Viper replica wheels sporting fresh 275/40 Hankook rubber at all 4 corners and no, the tires don't rub! The only drivetrain mods are an AEM cold air intake and Big Bobs resonator eliminators with polished stainless tips. I replaced the R/T badges with SRT8 badges. At a glance, most SRT8 owners don't know it 's not the real deal. The 340HP HEMI performs brilliantly and the SRT8 option was new for the Magnums in 2006 so not a lot were sold that way. This car is the correct color and correct options for an SRT8. The oil was always changed with Castrol Syntec full synthetic motor oil. The car was originally sold in California. I bought it from a very respected dealership in "Plymouth" WI as a factory buyback car with a full 3year/36000 mile warranty back in 2008. I've never had the car in for any service or warranty work what so ever and I'm not quite sure why it ended up a factory buy back. Laws for that are different in CA. The title says nothing about it except that it was previously titled in CA. The car is 100% trouble free and I never had any issues with it at all. You will never find a nicer one with this amount of miles, for this amount of money, you won't be disappointed, I guarantee it! |

2015 Dodge Viper getting small increase in power
Tue, 29 Jul 2014The Viper is used to being the most powerful car in the Dodge and SRT stables, but the arrival of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat means that's no longer the case. The serpentine supercar is, however, reportedly getting a small boost in output for 2015, amounting to all of five horsepower.
The increase was uncovered by Road & Track courtesy of the SAE J1349 certification process to which Detroit's Big Three automakers submit themselves and which reports the Viper's output at 645 hp instead of the 640 it was rated at until now. There are a hundred factors that could have contributed to the relatively mild boost in output (best guess? nothing at all changed...), but we doubt anyone's going to complain about some extra horses under the hood.
The five-horsepower boost brings the Viper that much closer to the 650-hp Chevy Corvette Z06, not to mention the 707-hp Hellcat, but the Viper's impressive power-to-weight ratio ought to mean it'll have little problem keeping up in a straight line - which is just one of the reasons why Chrysler won't shoe-horn the Hellcat into the Viper: as R&T points out, the supercharged engine is too heavy and the blower makes it too tall to fit in the Viper's engine bay.

Fri, 11 Jul 2014So far, whenever we've seen the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 707-horsepower, supercharged Hellcat V8, the muscle car has been smoking its tires. Dodge is finally proving that the SRT can do more than ruin perfectly good sets of rubber, though. In it's latest video, company CEO Tim Kuniskis hands the Hellcat off to the guys from Gas Monkey Garage to show how quickly the automaker's most powerful model can make it down the drag strip.
Of course, the only fitting contender to race against Dodge's latest top muscle car is its grandpa - a Hemi-powered 1971 Challenger, in this case. Before getting to the main event, the hosts also show off some of the SRT's unique features like the blanks in the grille that feed the intercoolers. We'll go ahead and spoil that the Hellcat makes its pass in the 10-second range, and the video admits the tires on the production version would take just a touch longer to cover the quarter-mile. Dodge celebrates big B-day with 100th Anniversary Editions muscle cars
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Being in business for 100 years is a HUGE milestone, so we hope Dodge has more in mind to celebrate its centennial than just a special edition package for the 2014 Charger and Challenger. Called the 100th Anniversary Edition package, this collection of cosmetic enhancements will be available in limited quantities for both cars at a cost of $2,500.
Ordering a Charger or Challenger with the 100th Anniversary Edition package means starting with either a V6-powered SXT Plus or V8-powered R/T Plus model. They can each be ordered in many colors, but only the High-Octane Red Pearl Coat above is an anniversary exclusive. Each car also comes with an anniversary-exclusive set of 20-inch, five-spoke wheels with what Dodge calls "Granite Crystal pockets," a texture that's also mirrored on each car's grille.
Of course, there are commemorative badges galore affixed to the exterior of each car, including "Dodge Est. 1914" fender badges and "100" logos on the center caps of each wheel. The styling theme of each car's interior is a bit more interesting, with Dodge designers trying to evoke "the patina and machinist legacy of John and Horace Dodge," the company's founders. To that end, the leather interior can be had in Molten Red or Foundry Black Nappa, and each features a custom cloud overprint that makes the hide look like a working man's dirty dungarees. Designers also used brass-colored accent stitching on the interior's leather trim pieces, and affixed more "Dodge Est. 1914" badges to the front seat backs and floor mats. We do like the flat-bottomed steering wheel, and the Challenger 100th Anniversary Edition gets exclusive white gauges faces and the Charger black. The "100" on each car's speedometer is also highlighted in red.
