I have aquired this Dodge truck that was in our restoration shop and a customer had started on, then decided to finish himself and not knowing what he was doing lost interest. There are pic's of truck when my company first seen it and where it is today. The customer bought a nice1965 Chrysler New Yorker from CA and had it shipped out here and was a great running car with a 413 Wedge and auto trans. He wanted to swap that motor in and bought the Cross Ram intake for it. What we did was remove complete front suspension and grafted it to the truck frame rails. The motor was set in place on the correct chrysler mounts. A trans cross member was put in place. The rear end from the same car was put in place. The truck floor had rust in it so was completly rebuilt by our metal guy. Headers were bought. After the customer took it home he purchased new tail gate a chrome grill and parts in the pictures. The pictures of parts spread out in the pictures were taken one year ago and then everything was put in storage. There is one picture that was a rendition (Lead in Picture) of what truck was to look like and has great possibilties for that. The auction is for everything in the pictures that go with the Dodge including the cross rams. This is a project truck with clear TN title. Dodge lets us drive 100-years' worth of history [w/videos]

A raft of important production models from the last hundred years were available for me to either drive or ride in.
Dodge is 100 years old this year. So, as happened on Ford's recent centennial, the 50-year birthday of the Porsche 911, and others, the company has an excuse to trot out the highlights of its history next to its upcoming model lineup, and declare that "these are the fruits of the Dodge Boys' tree whose roots have grown strong." Or something like that. Never so hampered by marketing skepticism that I'll pass up the opportunity to burn someone else's rubber, I was happy to drive out to Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester Hills, MI - former grand estate of the Dodge family - to hear the spiel.
2014 Dodge Durango leaks ahead of NY rollout
Wed, 27 Mar 2013Even though Chrysler will reportedly discontinue the Dodge Durango after the current model's lifespan - said to be around 2016 - that isn't stopping the automaker from improving its full-size, three-row SUV. The vehicle won't debut at the New York Auto Show until tomorrow, but images are already leaking out ahead of the embargo lift, and they show that the 2014 model is getting even more aggressive styling to go with more technology inside and out.
Dodge limited its early press shots of the new Durango to just the R/T trim level, but this new look adds a meaner look to this model with more dramatic projector-beam headlights along with a "floating" crosshair grille and a restyled fascia. At the rear of the Durango, LED racetrack taillights show a family resemblance to the Charger and Dart, while a new rear fascia adds to the styling while also allowing for an integrated trailer hitch.
On the tech side, the instrument panel looks to have been redesigned to include a standard seven-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) gauge cluster, and it also appears as if Chrysler's well-liked UConnect system has been updated with the 8.4-inch touchscreen found in other Chrysler vehicles. The 2013 model's conventional console shifter has been replaced by a rotary knob for gear selection, suggesting that there are transmission changes afoot as well. We'll have more details when the silks slide off this big boy tomorrow, so stay tuned.

The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.
