Up for sale is my 1969 W200 power wagon. almost everything that turns or move mechanically has been replaced in the past 3 years.

Has a very good interior and door panels
318 CI out of a '68 'Cuda
4 speed manual NP435 trans. NP205 t case.
Dana 44 closed knuckle up front.
Dana 60 full floater in the rear.
Custom winch bumper. with 10,000 pound electric winch, with remote control.
Transmission was rebuilt. new clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate, and resurfaced flywheel. All u joints with less then 500 miles. This truck was lifted when I bought it, and it was a real botch job. No way it was anywhere near safe or able to pass State Inspection. So I replaced the leaf springs with new stock height ones, and replaced the shocks as well. I replaced the steering box, pitman arm, drag link, steering arm, tie rod ends, upper knuckle bushings and races, lower knuckle bearings and races, and knuckle felts and seals. Complete brake job including shoes, wheel cylinders, master, spring and adjuster kits, and wheel seals. All of the gauges work except fuel gauge. New battery, alternator, and voltage regulator, as well as cables and grounds. All the hoses are fairly new. New windshield gasket, window felts, and guide rubbers. All the glass is intact, and windows open and close as they should. Cab lights are new. New slip yolk for the drive shaft in between the trans and transfer case and the transfer case output yoke. Dash pad is still good, not cracked or ripped, Newer seat and headliner. The doors open and close properly and do not sag. All door handles and window cranks are there and work properly. Sits on American Racing rims with military tread. New custom exhaust, (this is a quiet truck) Included in the auction are five street tires mounted on stock Dodge 8 lug rims, as well as a complete (with tires and hubs), Dana 44 front differential. Body wise, there is a little cancer on the right side cowl, and the outer rockers need to be replaced. The inner rockers and floor pans, as well as the doors are in really good shape. Some plastic on the right front fender. Mechanically, it needs a water pump, and it smokes a little when you first start it up. Otherwise it is very dependable and runs well. This is a daily driver. All this being said, please remember that you are bidding on a 44 year old truck, which I doubt that the mileage on the odometer is original, so there is no warranty, either implied or expressed. I have tried to describe the truck as accurately as possible, so if you need more info, please feel free to contact me at 516 322-3849 at a decent hour. All shipping arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Please note that this truck does not have a title, but does have a New York State Transferable Registration. Please check with your State DMV for compatibility prior to bidding. As the truck is for sale locally, I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I will consider a trade out side the auction for a 2nd generation Dodge Cummins.

Dodge whips covers off 2013 Blacktop series

Thu, 10 Jan 2013

Dodge introduced us to its Blacktop model lineup a year ago with the 2012 Charger and followed up with more recently with the 2013 Challenger and 2013 Avenger. Now the automaker will be applying this ominous-looking treatment to the Durango, Grand Caravan and Journey models for 2013 as well. These models will be unveiled next week at the Detroit Auto Show, but Dodge has released most of the details for these new products including pricing and availability.
If the Grand Caravan R/T (aka, the Man Van) wasn't aggressive enough for you or its $30,000 starting price was a little too pricey, then the 2013 Grand Caravan Blacktop could be the ticket. Starting with the SXT trim level (which stickers at $19,995), the Blacktop package costs only $595, and adds unique features such as blacked-out headlights, grille and fog lights bezels and an all-black interior. The van rides on black-accented, 17-inch aluminum wheels. The Grand Caravan Blacktop is only available in monochromatic paint schemes limited to Billet Silver, Brilliant Black, Maximum Steel, Redline Red and Stone White
Likewise, the 2013 Journey Blacktop is offered only on the SXT model (starting at $18,995) with all of the crossover's normal options such as four- and six-cylinder engines, five- or seven-passenger seating and front- or all-wheel drive. The Blacktop package adds $995 to the Journey SXT's price and features many of the same black accents as the Grand Caravan like the headlights, grille, door mirrors and lower fascia. Exterior colors are limited to Bright Silver, Bright Red, Brilliant Black, Brilliant Red Tri-Coat, White, Pearl White Tri-Coat and Storm Grey, and the package's 19-inch wheels come in Gloss Black. Inside, the Journey Blacktop comes standard with black cloth seats and Chrysler's 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen, but black leather is also available as an option.

2015 Dodge Charger shows off its new look in New York [w/videos]

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

With a new look inspired largely by the Dart compact, the 2015 Dodge Charger made its New York Auto Show debut today. Along with the interior and exterior changes, an eight-speed automatic becomes standard across the range.
What hasn't changed is the choice of engines under the Charger's long hood. A 3.7-liter V6 serves as the base mill, and can be had in both rear- and all-wheel-drive varieties, while the 5.7-liter V8 is an optional item and can be had in rear-drive only. Outputs are also carried over from last year, with 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque for the six-pot, while the Hemi V8 delivers 370 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque.
The new exterior treatment is a fairly large departure from the styling tone set by the Charger since its reintroduction to the US market in 2006. The blacked-out, crosshair grille and new headlamps are the biggest changes for 2015, though there are other, less immediately noticeable updates, such as the more rounded "Racetrack" taillamps that, like the front fascia, draw some inspiration from the Dart.

Challenger A/T Unlimited Concept could be your next Hellcat-powered ORV

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

This past June I spent an excellent day hanging out with Joey Ruiter, driving and discussing his Reboot Buggy project. Before heading home, I let him know that he was more than welcome to keep me abreast of whichever new automotive project he'd get into. You can never have too many car designers and one-off fabricators in your Rolodex, right?
Ruiter recently made good with the follow-up, emailing me with details on this Dodge Challenger A/T Untamed Concept that pushes a lot of hot buttons for the muscle car and off-roading enthusiasts.
This all-terrain Mopar is a lot more than a Challenger body dropped on a truck chassis, too. A materialized version of the A/T would included a completely new, long-travel suspension, skid plates, body armor and rock sliders, and obviously flared fenders to help accommodate a hellacious set of off-road-ready tires. The dramatically revised underpinnings would be topped with a slick graphics package and a killer lower light bar, all making the A/T look quite cohesive in its own, radical way. And the result would be a car no longer limited to mere road-driving.
