1989 Dodge D100 - Powerwagon -2 Owner - Lo Mls -all Original- Pers Delivery!!! on 2040-cars

Year:1989 Mileage:77393
Location:

Sammamish, Washington, United States

HISTORY:  I always wanted a sport 4X4 Dodge Pickup with short bed and manual tranny in this classic style for use up here in Washington.  When I saw this one on a small car lot  in Yakima,  Washington,  in December 2004, I knew I had to have it.  They assured me it was local and owned by an older man.  It drove as good as expected for the low mileage and excellent care through it's life.  I've never seen another like it, nor in as good shape with the low miles.  I drove it back to my residence in Sammamish WA  (25 miles East  of Seattle) and put it in the barn where I store cars and boats for others and also  my own car collection.  I have driven it for no more than 400 miles since purchase.  It starts and drives like the day I bought it.  Simply put, I have to start getting rid of my car collection since I'm not Jay Leno and must concentrate on restoration of my absolute "keepers"  ('47 Cadillac convertible, '69 Cuda 340 "S", etc). Please see my other eBay listings.

Although not a Power Wagon as such,  I have seen other  Power Ram 4X4's listed as Powerwagons.

EQUIPMENT:  This has the older New Process 4spd heavy duty transmission that just wont break. I believe the transfer case is also New Process. Rear differential is limited slip Chrysler 10 1/4; front diff is Dana 44.  Both are 3.21 ratio;  so highway cruising is no problem.  I reinstalled the original Dodge sport aluminum rims after polishing and coating them with marine grade epoxy.  I have three (3) of the original hub caps....just didn't install the third one. I installed a new receiver but it calls for modification of the spare tire carrier....I will replace the receiver with a different brand.  Tires are 90% M/S tread.

CONDITION:  I have started and run the truck on a regular basis just to keep it from sitting too long.  There is NO rust (other than "patina" rust) on this truck!  The shifters for the tranny and transfer case have the tight feel of a low mileage vehicle.  Likewise with the steering,   Door hinges are tight, tailgate works like it should, Carpet and seat is in excellent condition...apart from a cigarette burn.  Brakes and clutch work well.  No leaks have been observed.  Windshield is NEW.  The Dodge is currently in my barn (for 8 years) in Sammamish WA where it can be inspected/driven.

As far as deficiencies:  the Speedometer plastic has a crack (in picture);  the front bumper has a pulled up place (easily straightened).  I see no evidence of any body damage but the rear tailgate and right front fender are a slightly different color, which may indicated having been replaced/repainted.  Although brakes work perfectly, they could stand a rebuild simply from age (and linings are thin).  I am a perfectionist and do all my own brake work (I haven't been satisfied with professional shops since an early age).  I will do the brakes on this truck if we discuss it.  I can have a good friend (best paint and body guy I have found in 35 years) respray the fender and gate if we discuss this too.

DELIVERY:  I may have other vehicles  for sale at this time and may have made commitments to delivery them. The Dodge can be picked up at the residence or delivery can be made sometime this Spring.  Please see my listing for Auto Transport.    I can deliver to the Vancouver BC area immediately or other parts of the US and Canada if we discuss the delivery schedule and charges before bidding to win.

EUROPEAN DELIVERY:  I've sold and facilitated delivery of 5 vehicles to Europe.  The truck is 25 years old now, and would qualify for exceptional import to most Euro countries.  And, the exchange rate is still very much in Europe's favor.  YOU MUST CORRESPOND WITH ME to come to a satisfactory transaction.  This truck would really look great in Switzerland or Bavaria!!!  Please call me at the number below without regard to time differential.

PAYMENT:  A deposit  of $3,500 USD is due within 5 days of auction end.  Balance is due at time of delivery/pick up.  I will gladly discuss all other financial arrangements.

Please call me at the phone number below to discuss delivery schedule and charges or any other questions you may have.

Watch 1,414-hp worth of Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat do stereo burnouts

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

When Dodge announced that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would produce 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8, automotive enthusiasts were shocked. The company had promised us that it would be powerful, but no one expected for the muscle car to post even larger numbers than the range-topping Viper.
Car and Driver recently got ahold of two new SRTs and decided that the only proper way to show them off was by lighting up the rears in stereo. With a combined 1,414 horsepower, the pair of them make burnouts from the Hellcat V8 look as easy as breathing. The tires start spinning at the slightest provocation and just don't stop. If you buy one of these, it looks like you and the employees at the local tire store are going to be on a first name basis.
Scroll down to watch these two Hellcats to lay down enough smoke to alert the local hook and ladder trucks.

Dodge whips covers off 2013 Blacktop series

Thu, 10 Jan 2013

Dodge introduced us to its Blacktop model lineup a year ago with the 2012 Charger and followed up with more recently with the 2013 Challenger and 2013 Avenger. Now the automaker will be applying this ominous-looking treatment to the Durango, Grand Caravan and Journey models for 2013 as well. These models will be unveiled next week at the Detroit Auto Show, but Dodge has released most of the details for these new products including pricing and availability.
If the Grand Caravan R/T (aka, the Man Van) wasn't aggressive enough for you or its $30,000 starting price was a little too pricey, then the 2013 Grand Caravan Blacktop could be the ticket. Starting with the SXT trim level (which stickers at $19,995), the Blacktop package costs only $595, and adds unique features such as blacked-out headlights, grille and fog lights bezels and an all-black interior. The van rides on black-accented, 17-inch aluminum wheels. The Grand Caravan Blacktop is only available in monochromatic paint schemes limited to Billet Silver, Brilliant Black, Maximum Steel, Redline Red and Stone White
Likewise, the 2013 Journey Blacktop is offered only on the SXT model (starting at $18,995) with all of the crossover's normal options such as four- and six-cylinder engines, five- or seven-passenger seating and front- or all-wheel drive. The Blacktop package adds $995 to the Journey SXT's price and features many of the same black accents as the Grand Caravan like the headlights, grille, door mirrors and lower fascia. Exterior colors are limited to Bright Silver, Bright Red, Brilliant Black, Brilliant Red Tri-Coat, White, Pearl White Tri-Coat and Storm Grey, and the package's 19-inch wheels come in Gloss Black. Inside, the Journey Blacktop comes standard with black cloth seats and Chrysler's 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen, but black leather is also available as an option.

2014 Dodge Durango teaser reveals new 'racetrack' taillights

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

Not wanting to let Jeep get all of the SUV attention for the 2014 model year, Dodge is unveiling a refreshed version of its Durango at the New York Auto Show. Teased in this image, all we can really tell about the 2014 Dodge Durango is that it will be getting Dodge's "racetrack" taillights similar to the Charger and Dart.
The chrome or painted strip currently between the Durango's Zorro taillamps have been removed to allow for a full-width LED array with "DODGE" lettering displayed more prominently above the license plate pocket. Parent company Chrysler also promises that the updated Durango will add "several new class-exclusive features," but stops short of saying what those are. Earlier reports suggest that among the changes, buyers will be able to look forward to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which ought to improve the three-row SUV's fuel efficiency.
