This is your opportunity to own a decent 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 truck at a very reasonable price. I simply don't have enough room for this truck and I need to recover some driveway!
Here are some of the truck highlights and details:
As you can see by the pictures, there is rust by both of the door panels (bottom) and the front wheel wells. Also the dash has a few cracks on top (Those were there when I bought it so I don't know how they got there maybe from sun exposure) also the clear coat is coming off on the roof and parts of the hood. The 4 wheel drive works great and the truck starts and runs like a champ. I would say all of the tires are in fair condition not brand new but no noticeable wear. I am listing this Truck locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. Chrysler recalls small number of 2013-2014 cars and trucks over engine debris
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Chrysler is recalling a small number cars over issues with their 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. The recall, which affects 522 examples of its 2013 Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200 models, as well as 2014 Jeep Compass and Patriot CUVs has to do with potential debris in the balance shaft bearings.
The abrasive stuff can cause the oil pressure to drop, which could lead to the engine stalling or outright failure. This situation could at best leave drivers stranded and at worst lead to a crash.
Chrysler will begin notifying owners, who will need to report in to have the balance shaft module replaced. All repairs are naturally free of charge. Scroll down for the bulletin from NHTSA.
Ralph Gilles responds to Dodge rumors, says brand is 'here to stay'
Fri, 12 Jul 2013This is why we love Ralph Gilles. While in Italy hanging out with a group of Viper Club members in Europe, the SRT boss took the time to respond to a question directed at him on Instagram in regards to the future of Dodge.
Recent reports have painted a bleak picture for Dodge, but Gilles defended Chrysler's full-line brand by stating that the rumors are, "all rumors, Dodge is here to stay! It may get more focused going forward but not killed!" The idea of a "more focused" Dodge brand could lend some credibility to reports that the Grand Caravan and Durango are on their way out, which would leave Dodge solely as a car, or car-based, automaker.
