What ya see is what you get, i have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 that over heated in 2011 one time and blew the head gasket, a year ago i took the heads to a speed shop to be planed and then i find out the heads are cracked in half left and right side. And in 2011 I still had 2 years left on the car loan, so i have been paying for 2 years on a truck that doesn't even run, i now have the clean title in hand and my loss is your gain. I have a few other cars and trucks and do not need this truck anymore and am buying a house and need to have some money for a down payment. This truck has a block in it that has been sitting out in the elements for a year but it does have a brand new oil pan on it. And i am putting all the engine parts in the bed the day the truck gets picked up. You get every engine part you will need other than heads and headers , which i just left at the speed shop on accident about a year ago. The bed has the usual dodge rust spots above the rear wheels i had it repaired right before the engine blew and the driver kick panel had some rust that i fixed didnt like how it was done but it was to prevent more rust. and for a 11 year old truck the interior is in great shape, The cup holder is a stuck open but that's the only issue with the interior. all tires have decent tread. The automatic trans and 4wd never had any issue. Chrysler extends fuel tank warranties on LX cars, NHTSA ends probe
Tue, 18 Feb 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has ended its investigation of 153,817, 5.7-liter and 6.1-liter Hemi V8-powered 2006 Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Magnum models after reports of stalling. Chrysler has responded by granting a lifetime warranty on the fuel tanks for these vehicles.
NHTSA received 299 reports of engines stalling while the models were stopped or driving at low speeds, and began an investigation. The government agency found that the control valve shutoff float in the V8s' 19-gallon fuel tank could malfunction if the fuel had too high of an ethanol content. In many cases, the valve would break in the open position, allowing the tank to be overfilled, which would then cause the cars to stall. However, there were no accidents reported, and the vehicles could be restarted immediately.
There will not be a recall on these vehicles because, "the condition represents a low risk to motor vehicle safety and is adequately addressed by Chrysler's extended warranty," NHTSA said to The Detroit News.

2013 Dodge Dart GT
Mon, 16 Dec 2013My younger brother bought a Dodge Dart earlier this summer. It's a basic SXT, in Maximum Steel Metallic, with the 2.0-liter engine, a six-speed automatic transmission and not a whole lot else. Unfortunately, at the time, the Dart was one of the few cars in the compact class I'd never driven. I didn't know a lot about it, and therefore, didn't have a lot to say when he bought it. I think the words "based on an Alfa," popped out when I first saw it.
As it turns out, he's grown quite fond of the dark gray sedan, so it was with some degree of enthusiasm that I paid him a visit in this bright-orange Dart GT. I was excited to see what it was about the Dart that he enjoyed so much, despite my tester featuring a different engine, transmission and a lot more tech. After a week with the car, though, I must say: I don't quite see what all the fuss is about.
