Origianal owner 2007 Dodge 1500 2-wheel drive Megacab with 5.7 liter Hemi, auto trans, towing package, leather interior, navigation system, satellite radio, side-rail runningboards. Rails for 5th wheel/goose neck hitch and RV electrical plug installed in bed. I added dual exhaust after purchase. For those not familiar with "Megacabs", these are extended slightly (about 8-10 inches) more than regular extended cabs and feature a back seat that folds down rather than up which creates a huge cargo space. I originally bought this because I have huge dog, and she fit right in. Now that I've had this one, I won't have anything else. I recently bought a newer Megacab, so this one has to go.
I have had no problems whatever with this truck. It has 123,000 miles on it. At 110,000 miles Dodge asked me to bring it in for a free inspection because I purchased it at a time when I got a lifetime warranty on the drivetrain. (Sorry---not transferrable) The only thing they said I should do was replace the brake pads. I did that. Oil changed concientiously every 3000 miles. I have all the records.
I am not a dealer, so I am not posting the number of photos that most of them do. What you see is what you get---an extremely clean, good running truck.
Now for some disclaimers. This is a used truck. It is sold where is, as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. If you show up to buy it and you don't think it is as described, I'll give you your deposit back and we'll part friends.
Truck is located at my residence, about 15 miles east of Shreveport, Louisiana. Inspections are welcomed and encouraged. Title is clear and in my name.
$1000.00 deposit required within 72 hours of auction close. Full payment within one week of auction close. Wire transfer confirmed by my bank or cash are acceptable and I prefer cash at pick up. Neither truck nor title will be released until cash is in hand or my bank confirms receipt of funds. I cannot be scammed. I will not ship or be responsible for arranging it.
Any questions, call Tom at 318-949-9744. Winning bidder should contact me within 24 hours of auction close to discuss details.

Dodge offering novel 1-year lease on '14 Challenger and Charger models
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Dodge is just days away from unveiling refreshed versions of the Charger and Challenger at the 2014 New York Auto Show, models promising updated styling and new powertrain options. Depending on how you look at it, the company is either so confident in its forthcoming 2015 models that it's offering an interesting Double-Up lease deal on the current vehicles, or it's so eager to clear out existing stock that it's resorting to novel lease deals. In any case, what they present is an interesting scenario, one which allows buyers to get the existing model right now, and then trade up to the facelifted 2015 models in one year.
Starting April 17, when the refreshed cars debut through the end of August, buyers can lease a 2014 Charger or Challenger for one year and exchange it for a three-year lease on a 2015 model next year, with no additional money down and the same monthly payment. Customers can even switch vehicles when the new lease starts. If drivers want to buy the '15, they get $1,000 off the purchase price. To be eligible, both leases must use the same dealership and be financed through Chrysler Capital. The Double-Up deal excludes the SRT versions of both cars and Charger SE models.
To offset the flood of one-year-old models coming back to dealerships, Dodge has struck a deal with rental car agency Enterprise, which has agreed to buy them all. "One-year leases are highly unusual in the industry," said company spokesperson Ralph Kisiel, and the fleet sale deal is what makes it possible.
Why the Charger Hellcat can't be ordered with a manual transmission
Sun, 16 Nov 2014Fans of truly irreverent amounts of horsepower will find lots to love in the form of the 2015 Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcat models. Both of them send 707 ridiculous horsepower to the rear wheels; the only question is whether you want your absurdity delivered with two or four doors. Oh, and whether or not you want the option of a manual transmission.
If you prefer rowing your own gears, the choice is made for you; there is no manual gearbox option available on the Charger Hellcat, or any Charger model at all, for that matter. Wonder why? Well, besides the fact that almost nobody - sorry, clutch fans, but it's true - would choose to buy a Charger with a manual transmission, that is? The answer, according to an industry insider in a post written on Jalopnik's Opposite Lock forum, is the floorpan.
It's probably not a surprise to most of our readers that the Dodge Challenger and Charger share a large portion of their chassis structure, which is codenamed LX at Chrysler, but there are still some significant differences under the skin due to the shorter wheelbase and two-door coupe bodyshell of the Challenger, as opposed to the sedan shape of the Charger. One of the differences is the floorpan, the huge chunk of sheetmetal that makes up the floor of the car and props up such essential items as the car's seats.
2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit is ready to serve and protect
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Okay speed freaks, it's time to update your cheat sheet of police headlights, as Dodge has just unveiled the new 2015 Charger sedan's police variant, the Pursuit.
Like previous Charger Pursuits, the 2015 model is based on a modified version of the civilian sedan, featuring the same basic batch of mechanicals and sheetmetal, while adding a number of items specific to the five-oh.
For 2015, cops can select from the same 3.6-ltier V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 available to the civilian population, with former turning out 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque and the latter packing 370 ponies and 390 lb-ft. Even loaded down with equipment, Dodge claims the Hemi-powered cop car can hit 60 miles per hour in under six seconds, while both engines are expected return 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode). Rear-wheel drive is standard with both engines, while V8 Pursuits can be fitted with all-wheel drive.
