2005 Dodge Diesel 4x4 crew cab. I have owned this truck for two years and purchased it from my father n law that bought it brand new! I have never had any problems with this truck and its never been abused are worked to hard. The only thing that has been done is the injectors was replaced one year ago,and I added a Fass fuel filter system that seperates water and air. The trucks runs great and does not have any issues. It has normal wear and tear, few rock chips and the interior has a rip in the driver seat and console top and the carpet has stains. replaced several front end parts due to normal wear. Replaced brake rotors,pads. 50% tread on BFG tires. Cold air,all lights gauges work with no check engine lights on. Never been wrecked. I have not noticed any fluid drips underneath the truck. The truck has never been smoked in and no animal odor. Its still a very nice clean truck and it has a lot of life left in it. Only 154xxx miles. Four wheel drive works great. Dodge Viper saved from crusher by students, but will it last?

The saga of the Washington state community college hoping to keep its allegedly pre-production Dodge Viper out of the maw of the crusher is going strong. Not only does the school still have the car, but there's a chance that the college might even get to keep it.
The whole situation flared up in March when the South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, WA, received a notice from Chrysler Group that requested that the school's Viper be destroyed. The automaker had loaned the muscle car to it about a decade ago to use for educational purposes in its auto tech classes. With the Dodge growing long in the tooth, "it is unlikely that these vehicles offer any educational value to students," the company said in its press release on the matter.
However, the college balked at destroying its Viper, despite the fact it had signed a contract with Chrysler Group to do so. The school further claimed that its car was incredibly special because it was a pre-production example and just the fourth one made back in 1992. Although, as we pointed out at the time, the photos of the school's vehicle showed a coupe that looked like a newer Viper GTS.

I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old.
But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little.
