Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 24v Cummins Turbo Diesel With Hiniker V Plow!!!!!! on 2040-cars
Sheboygan, Wisconsin, United States
Here is my 1998 dodge ram with 197,000 miles. It's actually a 1998.5, meaning it was built later in the year and has the 24 valve cummins. The early 98's had the 12 valve. Also included is a Hiniker V plow. The plow has only been on the truck for two seasons. I bought the plow used (lightly used) and had it installed at a dealer that specialized in plows. Plow is still in great shape.
Everything works, and yes including the A/C. Truck has automatic transmission, 4x4, power locks, power windows, power driver seat, power/heated towing mirrors, cruise, cd, outside temp / compass, quad cab, long bed, grey/charcoal interior. It's has always been kept in great mechanical shape. I would take this truck anywhere. This truck has been very dependable and gets great mileage. Here's a list of extras: - Hiniker v plow - remote start - b&w gooseneck hitch - diablo power puck - k&n intake - gauges on the pilar - Air dog 2 lift pump - heavy duty billet torque converter - headache rack with lights - injection pump replaced a year ago - bed liner - towing mirrors - 4" exhaust from turbo back with 5" stainless tip Now for the bad: The carpet has some stains that I can't get out. The dash has a crack in the plastic on the passenger side. Rust is starting to form on the rockers and on the box (see pics). |

Chrysler slows minivan production, hasn't built VW Routan this year
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Chrysler has slowed production of its Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans this week, Automotive News reports. The Windsor, Ontario plant will cut its three shifts from eight hours each to four hours each in an effort "to align production with market demand," a Chrysler spokesperson told AN. Chrysler also builds the closely related Routan minivan for Volkswagen at its Ontario facility, but has not built a single example thus far in 2013.
Sales of Chrysler's minivans fell 15 percent for the first two months of 2013, and a large part of that has to do with the 26-percent drop of the Grand Caravan alone (the T&C was only down by one percent). According to Automotive News data, as of March 1, Chrysler had an unsold inventory of 24,713 Town and Country models and 18,547 Grand Caravans - a 69- and 43-day supply, respectively.
"No sense running full speed now, then have a lot of vehicles sitting around a few months down the line," Chrysler spokeswoman Jodi Tinson told AN. Full production is expected to resume again on March 18.
Ranking Dodge's Charger Hellcat with the fastest sedans in the world

"This is a car that most brands would never bring to market." - Tim Kuniskis
Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis had reason to be confident, perhaps even a bit cocky at the reveal of his brand's newest halo car, the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. As he said simply, it's the "quickest, fastest and most powerful sedan in the world."
Chrysler expecting up to 200,000 9-speed transmissions for 3 models this year
Tue, 22 Jan 2013Striving for improved fuel economy, we already knew that Chrysler will begin using a nine-speed automatic transmission in some of its new products this year, but what we haven't known is that volume at which this gearbox will be used. According to Bloomberg, Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has been quoted as saying that the automaker expects to sell close to 200,000 units equipped with this new transmission in 2013. Those gear-rich trannies will be spread out across three models, consisting of the redesigned Chrysler 200, the still-unnamed Jeep Liberty replacement and the Dodge Dart.
This transmission should play a pivotal role in making Chrysler vehicles more competitive in their respective segments. Just for comparison, one of the Dart's key competitors, the Toyota Corolla, still uses a four-speed automatic, and a previous report indicates that the next-generation 200 could get up to 38 miles per gallon on the highway, which is better than most non-hybrid midsize sedans on the market. Marchionne says that the new Jeep model is expected during the second quarter of this year, but there is no word as to when the new 200 or nine-speed Dart will debut, but clearly Dodge would like to have the transmission in its compact yesterday. As for that volume figure, it definitely doesn't seem out of reach since the Dart, Liberty and 200 combined for a total of more than 225,000 units in 2012.
How many more gears can we expect in future cars? Probably not many more, since the CEO of transmission-builder ZF, Stefan Sommer, previously stated that nine speeds was the "natural limit" for transmissions.
