LIFTED 5.9L CUMMINS! ONLY 29K MILES! 2006 DODGE RAM 2500 4X4! DIESEL! 22x14s!!!!

If you are in the market for quite possibly one of the nicest and lowest mileage 5.9L Cummins left in the country then look no further!

We have an absolutely beautiful 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. This truck does has the famous 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel backed by an Automatic transmission. The truck only has a CarFax certified 29,799 miles. That IS NOT a misprint.

The truck is an SLT optioned truck with power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, CD player, and cloth interior. It is a ONE OWNER ZERO ACCIDENT TRUCK! The truck is a 100% Southern truck and has NO RUST!

We recieved the truck in 100% stock form and decided to go a little crazy with it. For starters the truck has a full 8" Rough Country suspension lift with 2.0 Nitrogen shocks and steering stabilizers all the way around. The lift kit was installed professionally by Brian's Motorsports in Hendersonville, TN. We then installed a brand new set of 22x14 Fuel Hostage wheels wrapped in 37x13.50-22 Toyo Open Country M/T tires. After that was complete we had anything that came black plastic from the factory fully professionally painted Bright White to match the exterior. We then installed LED Taillights, LED 3rd brake light, Clear headlamps, Billet grille, and a few more touches.

The truck performance wise is 100% stock with the exception of a custom 4" straight piped exhaust with a 7" stainless tip dumped under the bed. The only other mechanical upgrades is a pair of Yellow Optima batteries. The interior has been left all stock all the way down to the original CD player.

The truck rides and drives like new and has no mechanical or cosmetic flaws. All the modifications have less than 50 miles on them. The truck has no gooseneck and has never hauled anything heavy. The A/C is COLD and the heat is HOT!

Here is your chance to buy a very low mileage 5.9L Cummins that is already modified in a way that it should've left the factory. You don't have to worry about spending over $1,500 removing the emissions equiptment as you would do the new style 6.7L Cummins. There is over $12,000 in upgrades on top of the already desirable truck that it was.

How Dodge dealers are earning the right to sell Hellcats

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

We all hate the idea of the dreaded dealer markup when it comes to buying a highly anticipated new car. Take the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, for example. You might spend hours reading about its supercharged V8 and speccing the model just right in the configurator, but when it finally comes down to laying down the cash, the dealer adds thousands of dollars as a "market adjustment" on the muscle machine of your dreams. As it turns out, when the Hellcat starts hitting showrooms in the third quarter, Dodge is trying to make sure that's not the case.
Dealer orders for the much-hyped Hellcat recently started, but Dodge boss Tim Kuniskis has put some special caveats in place to ensure that the Hellcat makes it to the road quickly. The initial allocation is based on the number of Dodge products that a showroom has sold in the last 180 days, and a second allotment in December is based on the last 90 days of sales and 30-day turnover. "You sell a lot of Darts for me, Journeys for me, Durangos for me, I'm going to give you the rights to this one, too, because this is a halo of the brand," said Kuniskis to Automotive News.
Furthermore, how quickly the Hellcat sells is also going to decide whether showrooms get more of them. "If you want to market-adjust the car, that's your right. But if your days-on-lot goes above what the other guys that are selling them at MSRP is, they will end up earning the allocation because their days-on-lot will be lower," he said to Automotive News. Obviously, this doesn't prevent dealers from marking up the Challenger SRT, but the strategy certainly discourages it.

2013 Dodge Challenger V6 recalled for fire risk, owners asked not to drive

Sun, 17 Mar 2013

Chrysler has issued a recall for the V6 version of the 2013 Dodge Challenger (as pictured above in 2012MY) over the possibility of a wiring harness that could short circuit and lead to a fire. Owners of these V6 Challengers built from November 2012 through January 2013 are being urged to contact dealers immediately and, in the meantime, not to drive their cars or park in or near any buildings.
Chrysler estimates around 2,500 potentially affected Challengers are in owners' hands, while another 1,900 are still sitting on dealer lots. The total number of recalled vehicles is 4,459.
So far, Chrysler says that seven fires have been reported - none resulting in injuries. The company is instructing vehicle owners to contact their dealer to find out if their vehicle is included in the recall, but owners can also find the build date information of their vehicle by checking the label in the driver's door jamb.

Coal-rolling Ram dually does tandem beer-shooting burnout with ATV in bed

Fri, 25 Jul 2014

Sometimes a video comes around that just makes you shake your head in disbelief. Take for example these guys from Nebraska in their dually diesel flatbed Ram, doing a smoky burnout. Lighting up the tires is nothing new, but these folks take things a step further by having another guy on an ATV in bed that is also smoking the tires. Finally, people are sitting on a couch in the bed taking the whole show in, as beer cans shoot out of the stacks.
There have been several stories recently about the scourge of rolling coal, i.e., diesel trucks modified to lay down a thick, black smoke screen, sometimes for vaguely political reasons. Whatever your opinion is on it, breathing in this much nasty stuff isn't exactly great for your health. Of course, it turns out that burning rubber is pretty awful, too. Both diesel and tire emissions contain cancer-causing Group 1 carcinogens. Combine them with the cigarette smoking here, and these guys are an oncologist's nightmare. Scroll down to take it all in for yourself. Warning, there is a little explicit language.
