1992 Stealth Nice solid stealth ready to be driven. I bought this car from the second owner. He kept it garaged most of it's life. He stated to me that this stealth had never been wrecked. While it has no rust it does have it's share of chips and minor scratches (especially on the front of hood). I bought this stealth in Ohio and drove it home 500 miles with no issues. I intended on making this my driver but I have several other cars and found myself not driving this one so it's time to let it go to somebody else that can enjoy this reliable little sports car. It doesn't leak or use any oil and has no weird noises or knocks. It shifts fine through all the gears and drives down the road nicely. Every thing works on the car except for the oil pressure gauge. According to second owner timing belt was changed at 89k. Has cold a/c and hot heat. The interior is very clean with just a few small tears on top of driver's door panel. The seats are firm with no tears or marks. There is an after market stereo which didn't fit in bezel like the original. All in all this is a very solid car that I would drive anywhere. Consistent with it's age it does have a few marks and chips but nothing major. This car is also being listed locally so I reserve the right to end auction early. Chrysler recalling over 280k minivans because airbags may deploy on wrong side
Mon, 08 Jul 2013Chrysler has issued a recall for some 2013 Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan and Ram C/V Tradesman vans built between May 10, 2012 and June 7, 2013. These vehicles may have a software error that would cause the wrong side (opposite side) airbags to deploy in a crash. With this defect, a left-side impact would cause the right-side airbag to deploy, etc.
The recall affects 281,500 vehicles in total: 224k in the US, 49,300 in Canada, 2,900 in Mexico and 5,300 in other locations. Chrysler will notify owners of effected vehicles, and reflash the offending occupant restraint control module to resolve the issue. Dodge shows can-do attitude with grand Can'avan sculpture
Fri, 01 Nov 2013There are lots of ways to celebrate an important birthday, and all of them are well deserved. You can throw a big party, buy yourself something nice, or - if you're the altruistic type - do something for others in need. The latter is how Chrysler has opted to mark the 30th anniversary of its Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country.
Together with hunger-advocacy organization Canstruction, the Chrysler Foundation has built a full-scale replica of the Grand Caravan out of 30,000 food cans in the square at the corner of Yonge and Dundas in Toronto, a ways down the highway from where the real vans are built in Windsor. The sculpture was built over the course of 10 hours by 30 volunteers and was displayed earlier this week.
Now the installation is being taken down, and the cans of food are being donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank, which will assemble them into 2,000 food baskets to be distributed to those in need through its network of 200 food banks across the Canadian metropolis. 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat gets brace of new videos
Wed, 21 May 2014Yesterday's big announcement focusing on the new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat had plenty of stuff going for it - information, pictures and the rabid enthusiasm that always accompanies such an eagerly anticipated reveal. What it was lacking, though, was a proliferation of videos of the new model.
Sure, yesterday's news came with one clip, but today, Dodge has come through with five videos. We've arranged them in what we think will be the most entertaining order, covering the powertrain, before moving on to exterior and interior design, then on to a full CGI dissection of the SRT Hellcat before capping things off with a piece on the non-supercharged Challenger SRT392.
