As a retired developer searching for my dream car, I hunted the entire Unite States for the best looking, best condition 2010 Viper Convertible possible. Hard tops were everywhere and the older convertibles were a disaster, but who would buy a hard top anyway JK LOL. I waited for months and drove for days looking at used Vipers and all I found was absolutely nothing worth buying, I thought all my time invested was a waste. Just as I almost gave up hope, I found her waiting for me in Dallas Texas. She was perfect in every way, so I purchased her immediately. When she arrived I knew that my wait was well worth it. I have had her for only a short time but I have never owned a car that commands so much attention from so many people. Everyone loves her, She is a beautiful silver convertible with a unbelievable lifetime warranty, an escort 9500ci and a Zurich armor shield that last for many years . She has no limits when it come to speed and beauty. All corvettes and mustangs naturally just move aside as all eyes turn to get a look at this pure muscle car, you feel it everywhere you go. If you don't know Vipers then you wont understand this. For some dreamers like me, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to find a beautiful monster like this. Don't waste your time too, You have found the one you are looking for., Always garaged, Excellent condition, No accidents, Non-smoker, Title in hand

Dodge gives 2015 Viper slight power increase, new GT model

Tue, 02 Sep 2014

With its troubling sales figures, the newly rechristened SRT Dodge Viper needs to come out swinging for 2015. To do that, Dodge has made a number of tweaks and changes that will hopefully carry the V10-powered sports car into more successful days.
First up for 2015 is a new GT model, which aims to marry the reasonable price of the base car with the adjustable suspension and trick stability control program of the GTS model. The GT also sports a cabin that's covered in Alcantara suede and Nappa leather as standard.
Also new for 2015 is the SRT TA 2.0 Special Edition, which expands on last year's Viper TA by adding new aerodynamic bits and bobs, including a larger rear wing, which ups downforce at 150 miles per hour from 278 pounds to 400 pounds.

SRT back to Dodge, Dart SRT, new Challenger, Charger and Caravan's death outlined in 5-yr plan

Tue, 06 May 2014

The onslaught of news from Fiat Chrysler's layout of five-year plans continued with Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis this morning, including the unexpected announcement that SRT was coming back into the fold.
After just a few years existing as an independent entity within the Fiat Chrysler universe, an unceremonious press release hit in conjunction with today's lineup of announcements, saying "the SRT family of vehicles will be consolidated under the Dodge brand." Group CEO Sergio Marchionne thanked SRT headman Ralph Gilles for his dedication to the high-performance wing, calling out is efforts in expanding the vehicle lineup and including more customized models. He did not reference disappointing SRT Viper sales today, but we sense there's a bit of subtext.
With the SRT reunion at Dodge, it's appropriate that some of the most exciting product announcements for the next five years have to do with upcoming performance products. First out of the gate will be a refresh for that flagging Viper in 2015, which comes as little surprise.

Watch this Dodge Viper get clawed to death

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

There's a scene in the James Bond movie, Casino Royale, where Daniel Craig's Agent 007 is captured by villain Le Chiffre, played by Mads Mikkelsen. Le Chiffre tortures Bond in a scene that is rather difficult to watch (especially for blokes) and impossible to describe on these digital pages (Google at your own risk). This video is the automotive equivalent of the Casino Royale torture scene.
It shows a Dodge Viper - a late, first-generation GTS judging by the center-exit exhausts - getting assaulted by a giant piece of heavy equipment. The large claw shows no mercy on the V10-powered sports car, rending its muscular curves into pieces and then running it over, just for good measure. It's a painful video to watch (and hear!), made worse because we don't know what the Viper did to deserve such a fate. About a third of the way through the video, the cameraman indicates that the man with the claw is a new operator from Chrysler, and it appears there may be some fire damage, but beyond that, we don't have much to go on.
Scroll down for the video but be warned, it isn't for the faint of heart.
