This ACR has ONLY 1700 pampered miles. VCA member owned, has never been tracked and is just like the day it left the showroom floor!
Let me be perfectly clear, the car is flawless... No stone chips, scratches or any imperfections whatsoever! It's bone stock except for 3M clear shield which I had installed over the summer. All books, records and extra keys are included. Here's the story: I'm a car guy and everyone looking here knows at least one. You know, the guy who buys and sells a sports car as often as most people change the batteries in their smoke detectors. Yeah, that's me... Anyway, I bought this car last May from the original owner who was a private collector. Now I've got something else coming down the pike and it's time for me to move on. Meanwhile, some lucky buyer is going to end up with one Badass Viper.
Very Important: Unlike most ACRs out there that have been ridden hard and put away wet, this car has NEVER been on a track, let alone abused. The suspension has never been adjusted from the stock factory settings. The factory track splitter is still new in bubble wrap, as is the ride height tool, both of which have never been used.
As the most extreme street-legal Viper to date, the 4th Generation ACR (American Club Racing) variant is an absolute menace to cars costing four times as much. It is one of the quickest production cars ever around many racing circuits, and is still quite manageable on the road. A downforce enhancing rear wing, front canards, adjustable suspension, two-piece brake rotors, and street-legal racing tires combine to create one of the stickiest cars ever! A supreme handler, it is motivated by an 8.4L V10 that belts out 600 tire-shredding horsepower. Where normal sports cars may get nervous at higher speeds, this Viper is as stable and as planted as a race car. Its performance is matched by an aggressive style complete with offset racing stripe… Heads will turn wherever you go! If you are looking for one of America’s finest automotive creations, just like new and barely driven, your search ends here!

Dodge pulls New Girl and The Office stars for new Dart spots
Wed, 06 Aug 2014Dodge is hoping that a heavy dash of humor helps it move some more units of the Dart with a hilarious ad campaign called Don't Touch My Dart. The spots star actors Craig Robinson, best known for his role as Darryl on The Office, and Jake Johnson from New Girl as neighbors and friends playing a game of one-upmanship over Robinson's new car. Johnson is envious of the ride and just wants to touch it.
The ads are pretty funny if you're a fan of somewhat absurdist humor, and Robinson has just the right amount of over-the-top seriousness to really make the commercials work. They have kind of a Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote vibe with Johnson constantly in inept pursuit of what he wants, but he clearly isn't getting it.
The first four spots in the campaign are already online, but according to Dodge this is just the beginning. The company says that it's planning about 24 different versions of these ads in various lengths to play on TV and online. You can check out the ads titled First Scratch, Birdhouse Police Garage Door and Voice Touching below, along with the brand's release about the new ads. There's also a pretty good gag on its YouTube page with Robinson protecting his Dart.
Dodge Challenger Scat Pack adds power and noise, with a warranty
Thu, 17 Apr 2014If you want to go fast, there's certainly nothing wrong with the Dodge Challenger SRT8. With 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque for 2014, there's certainly not much to complain about. But what if you want something more aftermarket in flavor? There's no shortage of options, but while turning to the tuner world will make your car plenty fast, that extra power won't just shred rear tires, it'll torch your warranty, as well. That's where Dodge's Scat Pack comes in.
With three stages of mods for both the 5.7 and 6.4-liter Hemi V8s Challenger (as well as the 5.7-liter Charger and, soon, the four-pot Dart), the Scat Pack cars give drivers all the power, aggression and noise of a heavily modded aftermarket car while maintaining the piece of mind provided by the Dodge warranty.
Power gets bumped up to 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque with the 6.4-liter Scat Pack, while the 5.7-liter can provide up to 58 hp and 47 lb-ft of torque to add to the stock engine's 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet. It's the latter engine that can really get some work done, with upgrades ranging from the mundane - intake and exhaust - to the racy, like the ported heads and high-flow headers.
2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad soldiers on in the Chi
Thu, 06 Feb 2014Introduced to the market in 2008 and updated in 2011, the Dodge Journey crossover has had all the freshness of a retirement village in recent years. Filling a potentially important niche for Dodge as an affordable, family-sized vehicle, the Journey has gotten one last mild refresh here in Chicago. Feast your mild-appearance-package-loving eyes on the 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad.
We can't be sure if the inspiration for the Crossroad appellation was the 2002 blockbuster film, Crossroads, starring Britney Spears, or the 1986 cult-classic, Crossroads, starring Ralph Macchio, but based on the CUV's newfound boyish charm, we're betting on the Karate Kid.
Dark finish 19-inch wheels, platinum chrome accents and a manly new front fascia tell the world that this isn't the Dodge Journey that they've long since forgotten about. In fairness, the Crossroad is easily the best-looking iteration of the Journey to date, and should be better to live with, too, considering its revised cabin, leather seats and standard Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system.
