Hi you are looking at a very nice well maintained 1978 Ferrari 308 Targa, This is a carburetor engine car that starts, runs well and sounds excellent! This Ferrari has been meticulously maintained thru out its current owners life and is a real joy to drive on nice days and a definite HEAD TURNER on the road! The Ferrari had the expensive timing belt changed approximately 12 k ago. Overall I would say that this is a VERY NICE well taken care of driver as the paint still looks nice and shinny with only a few very small spots around the out side of the car needing a very little attention. The engine bay looks clean as does the trunk area. The interior is also in very good condition with no rips or tears in the leather seats also the surrounding leather and carpet has a fresh look to it for its age. There is a custom built in schumacker battery maintainer up front to keep the battery fresh and power up while in winter storage. It looks like the jack assy, Ferrari books and spare tire are all there and in there proper place. The last 5 years this car been owned by a dedicated Ferrari enthusiast that only drove the car on evenings out in excellent weather!
THIS FERRARI IS PRICED TO SELL !
The opening bid on this car is well under the actual value and will be sold to the highest bidder!
SORRY NO FOREIGN BIDDERS.
Thank you,
Have a very nice day.

Ferrari officially teases successor to Enzo throne
Fri, 14 Dec 2012You're looking at our best view yet of the upcoming successor to the Ferrari Enzo. Rumors kicking around the web insist the new reigning monarch of the Italian kingdom will carry the "F150" name when it bows, otherwise known as the Special Limited Series. Word has it Ferrari has focused all of its experience in Formula One to create the new model. According to the manufacturer's official online magazine, the new ultracar will boast a carbon fiber monocoque chassis built in "an almost handmade style" using four types of the composite. We aren't sure exactly what that means, but the design should keep weight to a minimum.
Power should come courtesy of an 800 horsepower V12 engine married to a HY-KERS system good for an additional 100 hp. Early estimates say the creation will tip the scales at under 3,000 pounds, which means the vehicle will be a performance marvel. Sounds like a party.
Raikkonen likely to retire from F1 after 2015 [w/poll]
Mon, 07 Jul 2014Though his irreverent demeanor party-goer image might suggest otherwise, make no mistake about it: at 34 years old (and with 37-year-old Mark Webber out of the race), Kimi Raikkonen is the oldest driver in Formula One. He's three months older than Jenson Button, a good year older than his former wingman Felipe Massa, three years ahead of Adrian Sutil and a good decade beyond the latest crop of up-and-comers on the grid. So it's only natural that we should start wondering how much longer he'll stick around, and now we may have our answer.
Speaking with motorsport journalists at the British Grand Prix this past weekend, the 2007 World Champion and winner of 20 grands prix, Raikkonen indicated that the next season will likely be his last. According to numerous racing news outlets, when asked how long he plans to stay on the grid, the famously terse Finn responded: "Until my contract is finished, and then I will probably stop. That is what I think is going to happen."
Kimi was a relatively unknown entity when Sauber gave him his first drive in F1 back in 2001, upon which he finished in the points on his first race. He moved to McLaren the following season, racked his first podium finishes, and took his first win the season after that. He finishes second behind Fernando Alonso the next season, well ahead of the rest of the pack, and switched to Ferrari two seasons later in 2007, winning the world championship on his first season in red. After just three seasons, Ferrari showed him the door and Kimi left F1 entirely, trying his hand at everything from the World Rally Championship to NASCAR. He returned to F1 with Lotus in 2012, and in a rare move for Maranello, was invited back for this season on a two-year contract.
Race Recap: 2014 German Grand Prix is relapse and recovery
Mon, 21 Jul 2014The 2014 German Formula 1 Grand Prix is the hump-day race in the season and the penultimate chance for drivers and teams to rack up points before the summer break. Trying to stay on top after his first DNF of the year at the British Grand Prix, Mercedes AMG Petronas driver Nico Rosberg didn't have to wait until the race for misfortune to find Lewis Hamilton; his British teammate crashed out of the Q2 qualifying session due to a brake failure, then had to change his gearbox due of the crash, a calamity that left him starting 20th on the grid.
Rosberg took pole ahead of the Williams duo of Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa, with Kevin Magnussen surprising everyone with a fourth place in his McLaren. Daniel Ricciardo put the first Infiniti Red Bull Racing in fifth, ahead of teammate Sebastian Vettel, Ferrari pilot Fernando Alonso, Toro Rosso driver Daniil Kvyat, the Force India pair of Nico Hülkenberg and Sergio Perez finishing the top ten.
In a replay of events in Britain but with a German accent, a first-lap incident brought out the Safety Car and the same Brazilian was taken out of the race.
