Very nice and well taken care of example of this great mid-engine, naturally aspirated super car in rare Rosso
Fiorano over Cuoio. Rosso Fiorano is a Ferrari historical color which is an extra cost on new Ferrari's. VIN last
six 125217.
I purchased the car with around 6,800 miles almost 2 years ago from Ferrari of Denver. It has been well maintained
and stored with the car cover on when not in use. The lease will need to be paid off after the sale before a
transfer of title can be completed.
Here is some more info on the car:
" Exterior Color: Rosso Fiorano (Ferrari Historical color)
" Interior Color: Cuoio (Natural)
" Transmission: 6 speed F1 (Auto-Manual)
" Originally purchased by Yankee Candle founder and well-known car collector, Michael Kittredge from Miller
Motorcars in Greenwich, CT
" Daytona seats
"Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 tires are like new
" Has a New Ferrari factory OEM racing exhaust which is the same one that is fitted on the 360 Challenge Stradale
cars. Purchased from Algar Ferrari in Philadelphia, PA. This exhaust is not made any more and is very rare. The car
will come with its original stock exhaust as well which I have in a crate.
" The car had its last service on 5/27/15 at Ferrari of Denver and is up to date until this summer. A belt service
is not required for at least another 18 months.
" Extensive service history and ownership records from day one documented in a three ring binder. Clean CarFax.
" The car comes with all manuals, toolkit, Ferrari red car cover, seat covers and steering wheel cover.
" Paint has a few minor stone chips on the front end. There is a very small chip in the windshield on the far right
passenger side in the "black" border of the glass.

Race Recap: 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix follows the template of this year and last [spoilers]

Mon, 22 Apr 2013

The sand, the wind, the penalties, the contact and the one crash - all of them collided to make the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix a surprise affair from day to day and lap to lap. Oh, and did we mention the tires? Pirelli made a last-minute swap after the amusement park ride that the Chinese Grand Prix turned into with the soft compound tire, and brought medium and hard compounds to the desert. That didn't stop things from falling apart for some teams - literally - and that didn't stop the one team that seems to love the hard compound Pirelli tire.

Possible Ferrari F70/F150 specs emerge from private showings

Fri, 01 Feb 2013

At a private showing in Maranello, a group of lucky souls got to sneak a peek at the upcoming successor to the Ferrari Enzo, which has been referred to as both the F70 and F150 (not that F-150). While we still don't get any name confirmation or a definitive idea (aside from spy shots) as to what the newest Ferrari supercar will look like, one of the attendees did manage to pass along some vital performance information about the car as well as production numbers that are said to be limited to just 499 units.
The report on Auto-Blog.com.mx confirms that the Enzo successor will utilize an 800-horsepower V12 paired with a hybrid KERS good for another 150 hp. The engine's peak power kicks in at a screaming 9,200 rpm, while peak torque (not divulged) will be available at just 1,000 rpm. That kind of power could be great in just about anything, but the report also says that this new Ferrari model will have a dry weight of just 2,799 pounds (about the same as the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S twins and just slightly more than a Mazda MX-5 Miata). Rumored speed times include a top speed of 229 miles per hour, and the ability to run from 0-60 mph in less than three seconds; doubling that speed takes an extra second.
We've already seen the car's carbon fiber chassis and now we're just waiting to see the production car in real life, but Ferrari has not announced when the car will be introduced.

Ferrari vs. Ferrari: Cut convertibles unloved by collectors?

Mon, 05 Aug 2013

The New York Times' Wheels blog has a really interesting story on a pair of Ferraris that are set to be auctioned off in Monterey during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. While the two cars are similar on the surface, their differing histories and Ferrari's attitude towards one of them has led to a sort of experimental auction process.
On the one hand, we have one of ten 1967 275 GTB/4 NART Spiders, in the classic Rosso Corsa and appearing at RM Auctions and seen above. On the other, we have a Fly Yellow version that started life as a 1965 275 GTB Coupe, and was converted into a NART Spider. Called a "cut" car, this particular replica is one of about 100 GTB Coupes that were converted into convertibles to satiate the climbing demand for ultra-rare Spiders.
This will mark one of the first times that an original NART Spider will go toe to toe with a replica of itself at auction, and will answer a number of questions about just how important provenance is in the collector car world. Head on over to The Times blog for the full story.
