2009 Ferrari F430 Scuderia Coupe on 2040-cars
Norwell, Massachusetts, United States
Featured here is a 2009 Bianco Avus white Scuderia w/ black leather interior with only 2,432 miles. The car is in brand new condition and is still in stock form. I have all service records up to date by certified Ferrari dealers. To my knowledge the car is one of the lowest mile White Scuderia's left. I bought this car from Ferrari of New England Just over a year ago. The car had 1,036 miles when I took possession. The car was in museum quality shape then and still remains that way. Ferrari New England has serviced the car once before I bought it and its there now getting another yearly service. This amazing Ferrari is just about as raw of a drivers car you can possibly buy!! Jeremy Clarkson refers to it as what a real Ferrari should feel like, in his words its a knife edge racer or a street brawler that sounds like gods are having sex. He sold me lol!! As I am writing this description I'm starting to second guess on letting her go, but unfortunately its time to make a change. This is the perfect car for the true auto enthusiast who just loves to be behind the wheel of a true sports car.. Chris Harris wrings out Ferrari F40 and F50 on track
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Chris Harris one of the most beloved of British automotive journalists, and yet Ferrari doesn't seem inclined to take him off its black list. Something about having shined the light on the way Maranello sets up its cars for press evaluations, years ago... So the only time the auto scribe and video host we know as Monkey gets his hands on a Prancing Horse-emblazoned steering wheel is when a private owner offers Harris a drive. Fortunately, that seems to happen all the time, but rarely in such a fashion as it has for this latest video.
Here the owner of not only an F40 but also its successor the F50 has lent Harris both of his anniversary-edition Ferrari supercars and insisted that he drive them aggressively. So off they went to the Anglesey circuit in Wales to see how these precursors to the Enzo and LaFerrari fare alongside one another decades after they first hit the road.
Ferrari testing 458 Challenge Evoluzione at Mugello
Sat, 09 Nov 2013Ferrari makes road cars, it makes racecars, and it makes road cars into racecars. The 458 Challenge falls into the latter category, transforming the 458 Italia into the basis for Maranello's one-make spec racing series. It replaced the F430 Challenge in 2011, which in turn followed the 360 Challenge, F355 Challenge and 348 Challenge that started it all in the mid-90s.
Now the Prancing Horse marque is set to move the game forward again with the revised 458 Challenge Evoluzione. Seen here undergoing testing at what could be any tree-lined circuit but is likely Mugello (which Ferrari just happens to own in addition to the Fiorano test track at the factory), the 458 Challenge Evoluzione takes a step further with a new aerodynamics package.
Other changes will likely be nominal, and Ferrari will probably offer existing customer racers the option of upgrading to stay at the front of the pack instead of replacing their $300k racers entirely. One way or another, Ferrari is set to unveil the 458 Challenge Evoluzione, also at Mugello, after the conclusion this year's Finali Mondiali, the event that ties up the end of Ferrari Challenge series from around the world next week.
Race Recap: Belgian Grand Prix sings Waltzing Matilda
Mon, 25 Aug 2014Changeable. Each commentator will use that word at least 6,072 times over the Belgian Formula One
Grand Prix weekend. It is almost always applied to the weather, because the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit - perhaps all of Belgium - resides in some sort of climatological Narnia, its ADD skies totally unable to settle on a reliable behavior.
A dry Friday turned into a thoroughly wet qualifying on Saturday. When Q3 had done, Nico Rosberg would line up on pole position for the fourth race in a row for Mercedes AMG Petronas, after teammate Lewis Hamilton had another brake problem, this time glazing on one of the discs. Infiniti Red Bull Racing engineered a low-downforce setup and Sebastian Vettel took the best advantage, lining up third and making us wonder if the magic was back. Fernando Alonso drove the first Ferrari to fourth, the Spaniard saying he thought a podium was possible. Daniel Ricciardo put the second Infiniti Red Bull Racing in fifth, Valtteri Bottas behind him in the first Williams, then Kimi Räikkönen in the second Ferrari, Felipe Massa in the second Williams and Jenson Button in the sole McLaren in the top ten.
