We have decided to sell our 1967 Bronco which we have owned for 11 years. It has been enjoyed so much over the years and has always been a reliable starter every year. This Bronco has had a lot of love by us and we used the best of parts when working on it. The Bronco was always garaged. This Bronco can be a daily driver and with 3:50 gearing can attain maximum 25mpg. Drives like a charm. Cruises at 60mph with ease. Very solid vehicle. I would not be afraid of driving long distances. We found out the Bronco originally came from Washington DC - could have been in the military. There is a military sticker on the glove box door. The Bronco will come with the original 4:10 gear front and rear differentials if the purchaser would like them. We worked with many suppliers and purchased most of the quality parts from JBG, Wild H., Toms, LMC, James D. 4WP.

This will make someone a great ride.

As usual with this type of vehicle there is no warranty - sold as is. Mileage is listed as what is shown on the odometer - we have no way of knowing if the vehicle has turned over 100,000 miles.

Here is a list of all the items we installed on the Bronco during the build:

BODY PARTS
New rear quarter panel bottoms
New front floor pans
New door sills and door jambs
We kept the original fenders, grill, hood, windshield frame, doors (doors have the removable top frames which is cool when you remove the top for that roadster feel)
Ford two tone paint in 2002 using Ford late model colors - some minor areas of paint is showing some very minor rough spots on front left fender.
Hardtop from Arizona purchased on EBAY
New vinyl flooring throughout and felt sound absorbing insulation
New Red Jack on front bumper with custom mounting
New cb antenna - had hole for this when we purchased the Bronco
SUSPENSION
New factory stock rear springs
New 2-1/2" Wild Horses suspension lift
New body mounts, all new joint plastics replaced at front tie rods
New rear 2-2/2" lift blocks and U bolts
DRIVELINE
New oil pan gasket
New clutch
New master cylinder, new flexible brake hoses
New rear drive shaft
Reused late model front differential with 3:50 gears
Reused and rebuilt rear differential with 3:50 gears and factory Trac Loc rear end ( professionally rebuilt) with new bearings and seals
New James Duff 3sd floor shifter with actuator to operate the reverse lights
Metal floor cover for shifter with Rhino lining on the cover
BF Goodrich Mud Terrains
ENGINE
New Battery
New brake master cylinder
New water pump
New exhaust
Rebuilt radiator
New front pulley damper
New hoses and v belts
Rebuilt carb
New manifold gasket

Some things that could be done to the Bronco when purchased:
1. Recover the drivers seat - passenger seat looks good
2. Seat belts for the rear seat
3. Update brakes to disk and or power brakes - if you prefer
4. Update steering to power steering - if you prefer
5. There is a slight tick of a valve in the motor - could use a valve adjustment - has never been a problem in 11 years
6. Body and paint is 11 years old and is not perfect - it has blemishes, imperfections, minor surface rust, scratches, etc
7. Doors never did close like factory - could use fine tuning adjustments and gasket repair
8. Hard top has some whistling at speed - could use gaskets

Ford spills SEMA all over its Expeditions

Sat, 01 Nov 2014

If you're going to this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas, it's going to be tough to miss the Ford booth, simply for its size. The Blue Oval is bringing over a dozen customized examples of the 2015 Mustang and a quintet of modded Transits. The latest announced addition is a trio of upgraded 2015 Expeditions showing different takes on the recently refreshed SUV.
Any vehicle tuned by Dub Magazine needs to ride on massive wheels, and the Expedition (pictured above) that it has for SEMA is no exception. The SUV has 26-inch Dropstars wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires, and, making them look even larger, the suspension is also lowered. The rest of the custom has some mild upgrades like mesh grilles in front, tinted windows, an integrated radar detector and new upholstery inside.
Tijn wants to boost the performance of the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 for its take on the Expedition. The company claims to add 40 horsepower to bring total output to a claimed 405 by upgrading the engine with a charge cooler from Vortech Engineering, a custom side exhaust and a custom tune. To match the extra grunt, the SUV also gets bigger brakes, an Air Lift suspension and 24-inch, copper-colored wheels with custom fender flares.

Ford EcoBoost V6 hits the dyno before hitting the track

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

Ford Racing just unveiled the Riley Daytona Prototype that will make its racing in the United SportsCar Racing Championship Rolex 24 at Daytona in January, and now it has released a video showing development of twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that powers the car. Using the same block and heads that can be found on a production Ford Taurus SHO, this new racecar benefits from the collaboration between Ford Racing and Ford powertrain engineers.
While we still don't know what kind of power this engine is putting out, it has definitely gotten a workout at Ford's 17G dyno. This area deep within Ford allows the automaker's racing program to work hand-in-hand with production engine programs, which can be a benefit to racing operations and production cars alike. Scroll down to hear a few people from Ford talk about the crosspollination between its racing and engine teams and watch the EcoBoost get red hot on the dyno.

Ford's Mulally makes shortlist for Microsoft CEO

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

Ford CEO Alan Mulally has made the short list to take over tech giant Microsoft, lending further credence to rumors that the 68-year-old former Boeing exec would ditch Dearborn and move to Redmond.
The report comes from Reuters, which claims that alongside Mulally, former Nokia CEO Stephen Elop and three candidates from within Microsoft are on the short list to succeed Steve Ballmer at the company's helm, although previous reports claim the Ford exec is the number one candidate. Mulally is currently working without a contract, although Bill Ford seems to believe that he isn't likely to depart. Despite this belief, Ford was quoted just last month talking about the depth of talent on the Blue Oval's executive team.
"There is no change from what we announced last November. Alan remains fully focused on continuing to make progress on our One Ford plan. We do not engage in speculation," said Ford spokesman Jay Cooney.
