1973 Ford Bronco. This is a really nice truck that has had a lot of work done to it both in the past and recently.  She is not show room condition, however it is not rough at all.  Someone put this together to go play in and that is how it still is.  This is ready to go have lots of fun with.  There was a lot of time and effort put into this truck. I will try to list everything I know about it to the best of my ability.

This truck has had a rebuilt C4 transmission installed with less than 5 miles on it.  Has a fuel injected 302 engine with unknown miles.  The engine has a recent tune up and runs excellent.  Comes with a K&N washable air cleaner, new battery, fresh oil change.  The fuel pump has been replaced less than a month ago. The running gear has been serviced front to rear and is ready to go.  The interior has spray in Bedliner on the floor and sides, and was done correctly.  This is not covering any rust.  The seats need to be recovered, however all cushions are still in good shape.  The dash is brushed aluminum with Ford aftermarket stainless guages.  The truck has a tilt column, and all lights and turn signals function properly.  The shifter for the transmission is a ratchet style floor shifter that is in good working order.  The doors have had  the interior panels as well as the glass removed.  The truck has a nice roll bar that is in good shape.  The spare tire rack is in good shape and swings easily and is not rotted where it attatches to the body.  The front and rear bumpers are aftermarket pipe style and are in good shape. The hood is an aftermarket fiberglass hood and is in great shape.  The body is really nice and the paint is in great shape.  All interior and exterior paint matches and has no rust issues at all.  The truck has fender flares that are riveted on and are in good shape and are not cracked or broken. The tires are Pro Comp 35 x 12.50 x 15".  Tires are all in good shape and the spare is brand new.  The wheels are all aluminum including the spare.

I don't have any tops for it, and I don't believe it has had a top on it since it was built before I got it.  There are no holes in the sides for a soft or hard top.  Feel free to ask questions and I wll try to answer them as quickly as possible.

Does the new 2015 Ford Mustang have a burnout control system?

Tue, 10 Dec 2013

Whether it's lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring or automatic emergency braking, most of the electronic systems we see emerging on new vehicles focus on safety. But there are some there just for enthusiasts. We're talking about systems like automatic throttle blipping for perfect downshifts, or launch control to get that textbook acceleration from a standstill. But the latest system could prove just the opposite of the latter.
Although it has given us most of the details, Ford is still keeping certain elements of its new Mustang secret. But emerging reports may have the skinny on one system which Ford is trying is darnedest to keep under its hat for the time being. That, according to unnamed sources cited by Motor Authority, is burnout control.
The system is reportedly designed to help novices execute the perfect smokey burnout - sort of like launch control, but specifically the opposite. The system could, according to elaborative speculation, lock the front brakes while spooling up the engine to optimal revolutions before dumping (or indicating the driver to do dump) the clutch. A cloud of tire smoke and a long pair of skid marks would then ensue.

Ford vandalizes the SEMA Show floor with 2014 Transit Connect

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

The Ford booth here at SEMA is practically a 1970s throwback with all these customized vans sitting front and center. And we're completely fine with that. Take the black and yellow (black and yellow, black and yellow) 2014 Transit Connect from Mobsteel above. It's got a great stance, sits on steel wheels and has a pretty cool paint job and graphics package to boot.
Of course, that's not the only van you can see at the Ford booth. In fact, there are 10 Transit Connect vans on display from Ford here at SEMA, and you can see them all in our live gallery of high-res images above. Then, if you want to know more about each specific model, feel free to scroll down to read all about these vans in the official press release from Ford.

How Ford plans to handle insurance and repair questions surrounding new aluminum-bodied F-150

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

Building a car out of aluminum has a number of benefits - the lighter weight allows the vehicle to be more agile, more fuel efficient, make better use of its power and be more resistant to dings and dents. The downside to the advanced construction, though, is that repairs are both challenging and expensive. That's troubling for the new, aluminum-bodied Ford F-150, because it's kind of made a name for itself as a rugged, durable work vehicle.
How will the legions of Ford buyers cope when it comes time to insure and repair their new trucks? Well, according to Ford, it's expecting a ten-percent jump in insurance costs for the aluminum-bodied F-150, although Ford's truck marketing manager, Doug Scott, was quick to point out that the F-150 is generally cheaper to insure than its competition from Ram and General Motors. "At the end of the day, that's sort of a wash," Scott told Automotive News at last week's Detroit Auto Show. "We've spent a lot of time and feel very comfortable that that's not going to be an inhibitor."
The other issue facing Ford is the distinct lack of body shops that have the training or equipment to repair aluminum-bodied vehicles. AN cites an estimate from the Automotive Service Association claiming that of the 30,000 independent body shops in the US, less than 10 percent are able to work on aluminum.
