Well DOUCMENTED with ORIGINAL window sticker, build sheet, warrinty tag, temporty license tag, and manuals all from dealer. This is truly and Amazing bronco to be in this shape unrestored and this well documented!! This bronco sports one re-paint in metallic ford blue that still shines up very nice!(Is showing its age on the hood but not only noticable if looking for it) The interior was not painted and still holds its original color. Still sports its factory color matched rubber mat and two toned explorer seats. A roll was added for shoulder seat belts. The original drive train has been well serived and cared for though the years and all mechainics work effortlessly together! The original 302 with Freshly Rebuilt 2 barrel carb purrs like a kitten with facorty manifolds and dual exhaust. The Automatic transmisson shifts perfect and carries this bronco at highway speeds witn no problem what so ever! Tracks the road stright as an arrows with no play or side to side motion at all! Stops perfect with FACTORY POWER brakes!! Sitting on newer 33' BFG's with orignal hub caps . Also a 3 1/2 ' James Duff lift was added to accomidate the larger tires. Both tanks were cleaned and new sending units installed. All gauges including fuel(on both tanks) amps , oil pressure and temp function as they should! All lights , turn siginals , dash and cabin light on the wiper cover all work as they should!!! Which is a major plus!!!! Its holds its factory headliner! In saying all that I would not be afraid to drive this bronco ACROSS COUNTRY , DRIVE IT HOME!!! This bronco 99% rust free ALL floors rockers doors inner fender are all soild with the only rust being on the back of the original hard top drip rail and a small spot or two under the side molding that a dime will cover up. (not a major issue at all).

J Mays on the 2015 Ford Mustang

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

J Mays, head of design at Ford, may be retiring from the company after 16 years, but not before showing the world his swan song: the 2015 Mustang. Ford officially revealed its new coupe and convertible to the public at events around the world on Thursday, including a live unveiling on ABC's Good Morning America, and Mays was in attendance at the automaker's home event in Dearborn, MI, which is where we caught up with him for a few words about his new baby.
"It's a joy" to design the Mustang, Mays told Autoblog, adding that this sixth-generation coupe is his "favorite design so far." Of course, the 2015 model takes cues from all of the generations that came before it, but Mays said it was important to edit down the specific elements from previous models, leaving just enough off to let the customer "participate and fill in the blanks."
"If it doesn't sell itself, you probably aren't a Mustang fan."

George W. Bush's 2009 Ford F-150 fizzles with $300,000 bid at Barrett-Jackson [UPDATE: w/video]

Sun, 20 Jan 2013

Despite some truly impassioned pleading from Jay Leno himself - including calling on Arizona's notoriously Republican-rich voters to beat the $600,000 level set the last time Leno sold a vehicle for this particular charity... in California - bidding for George Bush's 2009 Ford F-150 pickup truck stalled at $300,000.
All proceeds will be sent to the Fisher House Foundation, so at least it's $300K going to a good cause. Feel free to check out the live image gallery above, which includes shots showing Leno's skills helming the auction, and read through the official auction description below.
*UPDATE: Video of the auction and Leno's prods to the crowd for more money can now be seen below.
