This is a very nice 1987 Ford Bronco XLT. Runs and drives great, 302 V8 with automatic/overdrive AOD trans. 4X4. The paint and body are original. there are some minor rust and paint issues. Paint is a little faded but overall looks nice. There have been a few spots touched up because of surface rust and nicks and scratches. The tailgate has some rust at the bottom, there is a piece of trim on the bottom of the tailgate that covers it up. The interior looks pretty nice with normal wear. There is a small repair on passenger front seat. The pictures show most of the problems. The tires are three years old with maybe 2500 miles. It was sold new in California and has been in Ohio for 14 years. We do have it for sale locally and would end the auction if it sells. You can contact me if you like at 513-617-8691. There's an EcoBoost 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder in there somewhere, and it's headed straight for Ugly Horse.
For the second time in my life, I'm staring at an engine in the back of a truck with no concept of how to get it safely into the garage by my lonesome. The first time this happened, I dragged home a $300 International 345 V8 in the back of my Scout Terra only to discover that the bounds of my manliness terminated well before my ability to muscle that 800-pound cast iron block out of the pickup bed.

Right now, around 23 percent of all Ford vehicles sold in the United States is a utility vehicle. By 2020, Ford expects that figure to increase all the way to 29 percent. Put simply, SUVs and crossovers are very big business at Ford. So, when it comes time to update the Explorer, Ford's original sport utility vehicle, you can be sure that a whole heck of a lot of effort goes into the process.
How Ford hid the 2015 Mustang from spy photographers
Fri, 20 Dec 2013Now that we've finally seen the 2015 Ford Mustang, it's fun to go back and look at the spy shots we spent months pouring over, trying to dissect what was under all the camouflage. For the most part, Ford did a good job of concealing the car from spy photographers, and it released a video showing how much work went into doing so.
As crude as the Mustang's camo looked, all of the hard plastic, foam, vinyl and ratchet straps were actually created and put in place by a specific design team. The whole idea was to hide the car's identity, but it certainly ended up acting as a magnet for attention, too. According to Ford's press release, it took less than an hour for spy shots to appear online after the car was taken on public roads for the very first time - this is likely in reference to our first official spy shots of the Mustang from June, shown in the gallery below.
