I have owned this unit for 4 yrs., although I thought I would keep it forever my interest has changed and I bought a new truck. Body is very good for the age but does have some rust, hard to see in pics, small bubbles in paint. Pro Comp tires and lift was professionally installed at a off road shop appox 6 yrs ago. A year ago, we developed weak compression on cylinder #7, after pulling the engine to repair, we decided we were better to start over. We installed a certified 81,000 mile engine, same year and cc. We have over $4100 in receipts that will come with the vehicle, for expenses. Virtually everything that hangs on the motor is new and we have receipts to prove. K&N cold air, Flow Master headers, new dual exhaust, just to name a few. There are no bugs to work out, we have driven it plenty since finishing up, it runs and drives exactly as it should. Next-gen Ford Cobra Jet development underway, but will it be a Mustang?
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Ford might be stepping away from the NHRA, but it isn't abandoning drag racing altogether. Hot Rod says that Ford confirmed a next-gen Cobra Jet factory drag racer is in the works, but the report also speculates that a new Cobra Jet could switch away from the Mustang nameplate.
Even though talk of a new Cobra Jet coincides with the all-new 2015 Mustang, the lack of confirmation for the dragster's platform leaves Hot Rod to guess that the car might switch to another platform - specifically a front-drive-based, unibody car like the Fusion or Taurus. We'd hate to think of a world with a NASCAR-ized dragster from Ford Racing, but it's also highly unlikely that the Mustang Cobra Jet would step away from its quarter-mile rivals like the Chevy COPO Camaro and Dodge Challenger Drag Pak.

If you drive a recent Ford SUV or crossover, you may want to keep a watchful eye out for thieves - especially if you live in the New York metro area or in Detroit. A new study from the National Insurance Crime Bureau has named three Ford models as the most likely vehicles in their genre to be stolen, with CUVs in general being especially attractive to bandits.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. spends a great deal of his workday going sideways, but he's usually alone in the endeavor. For a guy that is clearly a dog lover, we imagine that can get a bit lonely.
