This NO RESERVE auction is for a 1994 Ford XLT Bronco. 5.8, CC, Tilt, cold a/c, large removable glass sunroof, push button 4x4 auto hubs, grey cloth interior.
Ive owned it for over 13 years and have invested over $20k, mainly because I only drive it 1 or 2 times a month. It had 41k original miles when i bought it from a Sandiego car collector in 2000. It now has 88k. Under carriage and body have ZERO rust. Never seen snow, barely ever rain.
There is only 20k miles on the crate 351 that Ford Country in Las Vegas installed.

6" Rancho, 3" body lifts, 8 adjustable shocks, chrome stab bars, chrome sway bars + shocks, chrome drop hitch, Kodiak steps, billet grill,  $1500 custom exhaust, chrome muffler + tip, K&N filter, less then 200 miles on NEW 35" tires, M/T deep chrome rims, $4000 custom stereo + remote alarm (radio last week), PA system with 5 sirens, NEW chrome trans pan and diff cover (still in boxes), tinted windows, spare new airbag, New steering wheel, spare new tail lights, NEW headliner + carpet (1 week ago), NEW front + rear 4:56 gears, COMPLETE front end hub to hub, and  complete a/c system. New battery, New waterpump, fan, and fan clutch.... way to much to list. Have all receipts since new.
All work done by Ford dealerships, Off Road Warehouse, and 4 Wheel Performance Center.
The spare is inside, there is a small crack in the tailgate where I backed into a dumpster 10 years ago, there is a 1"x 10" area on the rear drivers side where the paint chipped off, and the drivers door exterior molding has faded, from being parked with the sun on that side.
Overall, this is almost a fully restored custom XLT Bronco that looks great, and runs + performs like new, NEVER abused. I would drive it anywhere with NO hesitation.

Ford to cease Australian automaking operations after 90 years

Thu, 23 May 2013

Ford began manufacturing cars in Australia in 1925 with the Model T. In 2016, Ford will stop manufacturing cars Down Under, including the Falcon and the Territory SUV. Ford Australia CEO Bob Graziano has reportedly confirmed the closure of the company's Broadmeadows assembly plant and the Geelong engine plant, both in the state of Victoria. There will be 650 jobs lost at Broadmeadows, 510 sacrificed at Geelong. Of the roughly 3,000 workers the Blue Oval has in Australia, it's said it will try to retain about 1,000 of them at its R&D and product development facilities.
The writing hasn't just been on the wall, it's been a regular item in all the papers and on Ford's bottom line for years. As recently as 2003, Ford sold nearly 75,000 Falcons, but over the next four years, annual sales dropped by something like 10,000 units, and over the last two years, it has sold less than 20,000 per year. It isn't only Ford that has suffered - sales of the other large, locally produced sedan, the Holden Commodore, have also gone over the precipice, triggering the same kind of angst about Holden's continued existence. Ford is the smallest of Australia's local automakers, Holden and Toyota the others, and has posted losses of $AUD141 million last year ($136M US) and $AUD600 million ($580M US) in the past five years. Graziano said the cost of manufacturing is simply too expensive in the country, twice as high as Europe and three times as high as Asia, and there no way to make a business case for staying in the country.
In January 2012, Ford Australia announced it would stay in the country until at least 2016, but by July of the same year, most outside observers were quietly declaring that 2016 would be the last year of Ford Down Under, and even the speculation was making other observers nervous. Ford received money from the Victorian government last year to aid its refresh of the Falcon and Territory, which will continue on schedule for the 2014 model year. A front- and all-wheel-drive sedan on a global platform is predicted to replace the Falcon, with some other SUV expected to replace the Territory. The company says it still intends to expand its lineup in the country.

Watch Tanner Foust hustle the Fiesta ST 'round the 'Ring

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

The last time we saw Tanner Foust at the Nürburgring he was sloshing an SVT Raptor from kerb to kerb. Sticking with Ford but swapping keys, this time the drift champion and Top Gear USA host goes to the opposite end of the manufacturer's tuner garage and plucks a Fiesta ST for 'Ring duty.
The 179-horsepower front-wheel-driver acquits itself well by the end of the video. But be warned, Foust doesn't set a 'Ring time and it's shot like a commercial... because that's what it is. Still, you can enjoy all two minutes and 31 seconds of it below.

Ford invests $682 million in Edge-producing Canadian facility

Sun, 22 Sep 2013

Ford announced that it's investing $682 million in its Oakville assembly plant in Ontario, Canada, to make it a global manufacturing plant, which the automaker also says secures 2,800 jobs there. Including this injection of cash, Ford has invested over $2 billion in Canada in the last decade, starting with nearly $1 billion for Oakville in 2004, and over $570 million for its Essex Engine Plant in 2010.
The move to make Oakville a global manufacturer of Ford vehicles means, "If consumers suddenly shift their buying habits, we can seamlessly change our production mix without having to idle a plant," says Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of the Americas.
Ford says that the latest investment will help it meet North American demand for the Oakville-produced Edge crossover, which is on track this year to beat 2007's US sales record of 130,000 Edges. The Ford Flex and Lincoln MKX and MKT are also manufactured at the plant.
