Here is a 1996 Ford Bronco. White and tan with tan leather interior. Power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, power mirrors, over head console, temp, and compass. 351 windsor and e4od trans. 3.55 gears with push button 4x4. I ended up with this bronco to pay dept owed to me. Well since i own a repair shop I took it in. After a couple trips i pulled it in and looked it over.......and now it's about brand new!
I felt it needed all of this to be safe.
Ball joints, uppers and lowers, front u joints, tie rod ends, steering gear box, wheel bearings, seals, brakes, front drive shaft u joints, replaced the rear drive shaft, rear axles seals, new fluids in every thing. diffs, trans, transfercase, rear ends and power steering. removed the transfer case split it resealed it, all new seals and fluid. New motor mounts, water pump, fan clutch and belt. New rear shocks, New Cooper AT/3 265/75/15 tires 4000 miles ago. Had and alined the bronco. The inside received new seat covers, and a removed all the interior and then applied road kill sound deadening material. made it SOOOO much quieter....and solid sounding. Then I ran all new wire to the speakers and installed a pdx 4.100 highs amp and pxd 1000 sub amp. 2 10" type s subs, JL c2 door speakers and a Alpine W200 screen.
This bronco does have some scratches and dings, it is used and from 96 but NO RUST. Rear gate has some dents but no rust, opens and closes like new. Glass works also and is tinted.
I do have all of the factory rear panels for the bronco if you wish to remove the stereo, and I have the rear arm rest installed in the bronco now, just was not done when I took the pictures. Aluminum spare tire is not included but a steel spare rim and tire will be included. Have a 4" lift off a truck if interested, can work out a price. I have found a set of auto lock outs I can include for $100 if you are interested. Feel free to call and ask questions. 7am -8pm 712 210 3612

Are you the next Ford Edge? [UPDATE]
Wed, 13 Feb 2013What looks to be the next Ford Edge has been leaked in an apparent corporate Powerpoint presentation deck. Despite the thumbnail image's blurry and pixelated quality, it appears as if the next generation crossover will be staying close to its current aesthetic despite an all-new front clip with redesigned grille, headlamps, and lower fascia with integrated fog lights.
The upscale-minded Blue Oval CUV is due for a redesign in 2015, having just received a mid-cycle refresh for 2011. It isn't clear what changes lie beneath the new skin, either in terms of mechanicals or interior refinement, but we suspect Ford will be looking to put some distance between the next generation model and the new Escape, which is suddenly much more car-like and not that far off the more expensive Edge in terms of overall size, power or refinement.
UPDATE: Substituted clearer image - thanks, Sean!
MyFord Touch getting second update, extended warranty
Wed, 28 Nov 2012There is no doubt that Ford has had its hands full fielding complaints with its MyFord Touch and MyLincoln Touch systems these days, but looking to keep its customers happy, Ford is once again upgrading its infotainment systems and extending the warranties. Despite having just sent out updates for its systems back in March, Automotive News says that customers are still complaining about the speed and ease of use.
Vehicles with MyFord Touch will now get a five-year, unlimited-mile warranty, while the MyLincoln Touch will have a six-year, unlimited-mile warranty. Previously, the systems were covered under basic warranties (three-year, 36,000-mile for Ford and four-year, 60,000-miles for Lincoln).
What is being referred to as "version 3.5" for the MyFord Touch and MyLincoln Touch systems will be mailed out (or downloaded) next month for owners of cars without navigation and in January for cars with nav. Owners of hybrids, plug-ins and electric vehicles will get the update sometime in the first quarter of next year.
1947 Chevy rat rod pickup leaves rubber and smoke in its wake
Thu, 08 May 2014Cool comes in multiple flavors. One one hand, we have the sophisticated attraction of svelte design and the efficient use of power. Of course, on the other hand there is the allure of being the bad boy and going against the grain. That is part of the appeal of rat rods. Ideally, they are built without rules to an owner's specific tastes, and this widened and heavily modified 1947 Chevrolet pickup rod is a perfect example of that spirit.
Coming down the highway with a bent grille, rusted body and pouring smoke, it looks like the pickup from hell. It backs up the looks with some very impressive mechanicals too. Owner Troy Gubser says that the truck packs a Ford Power Stroke diesel with to 42 pounds of boost that runs out of 8-inch exhaust stacks at the back. He claims it managed 505 horsepower and 885 pound-feet of torque on the dyno. To harness all that power, this hot rod has a ZF five-speed manual gearbox with a ceramic clutch and short-throw shifter. Plus, it has cool little features like a doorbell on the tailgate that operates an air horn.
You might not expect a truck like this to actually be useful, but it has a fifth wheel coupling to haul an RV around drag races and car shows. The air suspension also probably keeps the ride fairly comfy when Gubser wants it to be. Scroll down to check out this beastly rat rod pickup and watch it engage in some diesel drag racing. Warning, there is some NSFW language.
