NO RESERVE - 1966 Ford Bronco 4x4

Up for auction is my 1966 Ford Bronco. Had this truck for a while with a clean title in hand. Am sorry to have to sell it but we are having our second baby soon and the truck has to go.

Original drivetrain - 200 V-6, 3 Speed on the column, original body including floorpans. Runs and drives great. Odometer shows little over 53,000 miles. Not sure if these are original miles but it is very likely as truck was in great condition and still has all original drivetrain. Engine runs and idles smooth, transmission shifts with no issues, and brakes stop with no issues. Four wheel drive works great. Everything on the truck is in good shape. All gauges, lights, blinkers, etc work correctly. Has original radio.

Recently had paint and interior redone. Custom front winch bumper and rear bumper. Left floors uncovered to show great condition. All new rubber - door seals, window seals, tailgate and top seals. Front end rebuild - ring gear, pinion gear, bearings and seals.

Paint has small chip on tailgate (see pic). Windshield is cracks on passenger side. Left side rear view mirrors off because I liked the look better but have them to go with the truck.

Winner is responsible for all shipping arrangements although I do have a good reliable local transport contact if you need assistance. I am in Ripley, MS about 1 1/2 South of Memphis, TN.

$500 deposit due within 48 hours of auction end. Remaining balance due via wire transfer within 7 days of auction end. Title will be sent as soon as payment is received in full.

Glad to answer any questions or supply additional pictures if necessary.

Thanks for looking

Next SVT Mustang may axe Shelby name, go naturally aspirated

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Following our first glimpse at the 2015 Ford Mustang out on the road, the fine folks at Road and Track have divulged some details on what the Blue Oval's next pony might have in store. We've already seen that the car will get some very sleek, Evos-inspired design cues, and an independent rear suspension is indeed in store. These new details, however, concern the muscle car's beating heart.
For starters, the base Ford coupe is expected to carry on with V6 power, likely from the same 3.7-liter unit found in today's car. From there, R&T says the next step up will be a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, likely displacing 2.3 liters, putting out as much as 350 horsepower. Of course, a Mustang wouldn't be a Mustang without V8 thrust, and R&T states that the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 will continue on into the 2015 car, making something like 450 horsepower.
But it's at the high end of the Mustang range where things will, reportedly, get very, very interesting. Road & Track claims that the top-shelf 'Stang will likely lose the supercharger from its engine, producing a metric crap-ton of naturally aspirated grunt instead. Additionally, the SVT-fettled Mustang will likely be dropping its Shelby moniker, in favor of "a name you're familiar with," according to the magazine (you know, like, Cobra).

Ford jumps back in the water with marinized 6.2L V8

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Nameplates like the Mercury Mariner and Lincoln Navigator aside, Ford hasn't offered a marine engine in over two decades. But through a new partnership with one of the biggest names in the business, the Dearborn-based automaker is dipping its proverbial toes back in the water.
Announced yesterday at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the new partnership between Ford Component Sales and Indmar Marine Engines will see the 6.2-liter V8 from the F-150 SVT Raptor and F-Series Super Duty marinized for use in boats.
The largest privately owned inboard gasoline marine engine manufacturer in the world, Indmar has been in the business for 43 years, and figures the Ford V8 will be just what watersport enthusiasts are looking for to tow waterskiers and wakeboarders to their hearts' content.

Shelby to auction 2012 GT350 No. 1 in Vegas

Thu, 19 Sep 2013

With Shelby preparing to wind down production of its brutal GT350, a 624-horsepower Mustang that's meant to go up against the Roush Stage 3 in the world of tuned Ford ponycars, the Las Vegas-based tuner is looking to give back to one lucky customer. It'll auction off the very first GT350 ever produced, at the 2013 Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas, a three-day event that runs from September 26 through September 28.
The GT350 is a monster, with a 5.0-liter, supercharged V8 that's been tuned well past 600 horsepower in a time when Ford's own Shelby-branded GT500 barely reached 550 horsepower. The GT350 is much louder than Ford's effort, too, both visually and audibly. The wide body look isn't what we'd call conventional, but on a car that sounds and goes like this, something extreme is needed. According to Shelby American's vice president of production, Gary Davis, "Carroll was very excited about the new wide body option, so that was included on this car. It's the first 2012 GT350 serial number from our anniversary year. It is a very special car." Wilwood brakes, a massaged suspension, and some very fat, sticky tires add to the Shelby experience.
This particular GT350 will be lot number 750, and will cross the Barrett-Jackson stage on Sunday, September 28.
