'06 E-350 Superduty Hi-top Cargo Van / 5.4l on 2040-cars
Silver Point, Tennessee, United States
This is a smoke-free van. The van was purchased by my father in 2010, and was lightly driven. This is a very nice, clean, great running van, ready to go to work. I would have no reservations about taking this van on any distance trip.
We have maintained the van ourselves; with regular oil and filter changes (every 3,000 miles). There have been no major issues with the van during the time we have owned it. I believe that we changed the battery, a belt, brakes, a hose, and tires. The tires look to be better than 80%, and ride very nice. The van rides hard with no load, but add some weight and it rides very smooth. The interior is very clean. No tears or wear to the seats, or rubber floor covering. The paint is very good, with only a few small dents, and scratches. ( What you would expect of a van this age. ) This was my fathers van, and he has recently passed away. The information I have given is as I see it, and as I have found the van to perform. The Title is clear, and there will be no problem with transfer. We will require a $500 deposit within (2) days of the end of the Auction to secure the deal. We will accept Cashiers Check, Wire Transfer, or Cash at the time of delivery. I will be glad to work with you on transport if needed. I have bought, and sold several cars over eBay, and have had no problems to date. Please feel free to e-mail any questions. Thank you, Troy Williams |

Ford starting up 2.0L EcoBoost engine production in Ohio
Fri, 22 Feb 2013Joe Hinrichs, Ford's President of The Americas (pictured above), announced today that in late 2014, the automaker will be building the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder at its Cleveland Engine Plant, a move requiring a $200-million investment and the hiring of 450 new employees. European-built Ford products will continue to source this engine from the Valencia, Spain plant where all of these EcoBoost four-cylinder engines are currently built, and the new Cleveland engines will be used for all North American-made models.
Ford is planning to build its popular EcoBoost engines regionally to maximize production capacity and meet customer demand. Last year, Ford sold 334,364 vehicles with EcoBoost engines in the US alone, and that number is expected to swell to more than 500,000 by the end of this year, with global sales expected to total 1.6 million. By 2015, Ford says that 95 percent of its nameplates will offer an EcoBoost engine.
One such vehicle that could be adding an EcoBoost engine, according to Automotive News, is none other than the 2015 Ford Mustang. The report says that Ford could use either the 2.0-liter EcoBoost or an upcoming 2.3-liter EcoBoost in the sixth-generation pony car.
Tanner Foust tackles 'Ring in SVT Raptor
Sat, 16 Mar 2013Here's a math problem: if Tanner Foust has a 24 hours to kill in Germany and one blue Ford Raptor, how long will it take him to decide he wants to lap The Nürburgring? Extra credit if you can get your answer precise to the millisecond.
A very truck-like and slidey lap of the 'Ring is exactly what happened when the Ford-sponsored rallycross driver took time off from set-up duties for his 'day job.' Thankfully no one even thought to worry about posting a time, but you can watch some Raptor skid marks getting laid down between the kerbs in the video below.
Ford announces free brake pad offer if customers stop by dealers
Mon, 04 Aug 2014These days, when you buy a new car, it's not unreasonable to expect a certain period of free maintenance to come along as well. Sometimes this is through the life of the warranty, in other cases a little less. But Ford Motor Company is going beyond those deals for at least one part of its cars. As of now, if you buy a set of Motorcraft brake pads for a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury model, you get free replacements for as long as you own the vehicle. The offer is good at Ford or Lincoln dealers and Quick Lane Tire & Auto Centers.
"We will replace the pads for as long as you own the vehicle," said Elizabeth Weigandt to Autoblog. She did clarify that the Motorcraft pads are generally for models from the '90s or newer. Also, to take advantage of this program, a person must return to the same dealer each time to get the free parts.
Of course, Ford isn't just handing out brake pads to anyone who walks by; there are certain stipulations. First, the components have to be worn down to less than three millimeters to be eligible, and the buyer still has to pay for the labor to install them. If the model is used as a fleet vehicle for commercial purposes like as a taxi or limousine, this offer also doesn't apply; the same thing for racecars. On the plus side, if you recently bought a set of pads from one of the participating locations, you're still in luck. The deal covers parts purchased as of July 1.
